Twilight Sparkle and her friends screamed wildly as they entered into the Book of Ages. As they landed on the ground, they came across the Ancient Land of Ma. They all entered it as they're ready to face it. They witnessed the land was in turmoil as Imperial Court argued with each other while civil war broke out between peasants, rebels, imperials, warriors, nobles, warlords, ministers and even the Emperor.

Stallion: Through the storm,
Through the darkness,
The once peaceful kingdom
Lost its Love and Harmony
Turn into grief despair

Virtue Dragon, Blade Dragoon and Warpath Temper prayed and bowed down before the altar as they make a vow of sworn brotherhood. They joined up with various brave and compassion warriors in journeying across the land to help troubled ponies.

Azure Phoenix stood on the Imperial Palace's entrance as he held his sword up high proudly as his Imperial Phoenix Army. His army cheered wildly and proudly. They all went from territory to territory for conquest and control of the land.

Claw Tiger smiled proudly as he led his Tiger Warriors to deal with rebels. As he was dying, Claw Tiger passed the sword to his eldest son, Brave Tiger. Brave Tiger led his warriors in reclaiming Wuhu River for his clan. As he died, he passed to Courage Tiger as the new Leader of Kingdom.

Stallion: The destiny is now yours
To change its course and fate.
Heaven and Earth chose you to fulfill its purpose

Virtue Dragon helped ponies as well as showing kindness and compassion. His warriors of Western Dragon Kingdom fought bravely and determinedly to defend the innocent.

Azure Phoenix recruited more of warriors and strategists under his banner. He led the Imperial Phoenix Kingdom army across the land for conquest and world domination of empire.

Stallion: A hero with great ambition
Desired a land of power and talents

Courage Tiger was in great doubt and pain about his past. Nevertheless, he stood proudly on Water Tiger military naval ship, along with others. He was leading them to defend his home.

Stallion: A hero with courageous fangs
Desired a land of unity.

Three kingdoms marched into the battlefield as they all charged into it as they began battled with each other fiercely and firmly.

Twilight Sparkle and her friends witnessed the holographic form of history records about the heroes and villains from Qin Dynasty Era into the Three Kingdoms Era. They were amazed and shocked, but sometimes angered and upset while others - pained and despair.

Azure Phoenix and Han Zero stood before Royal Sisters. Both sides held each other hooves for the moment before the princesses disappeared from sights, including Han Zero. Azure Phoenix slowly turned and faced his two biggest rivals - Virtue Dragon and Courage Tiger. Three Rulers held anc crossed each other's their swords up proudly. It created the magical aura forms of Greenish Dragon, Bluish Phoenix and Crimson Tiger stood up and roared wildly as the mightiest warriors in Land of Ma!

Chapter 11: The Phoenix takes its Flight

"The gales of tyranny has been expelled from capital's hallowed confines. However, the damage
to the Imperial Court's authority has been done, and the land returned to chaos of countless warlords vying for power." Narrator narrated, "With nobody to rule, this newfound peace was tenuous at best. If only there was a hero, who could unite the land..."

Various and many warlords waged their battles against each other fiercely and wildly across the Land of Ma. They all desired one thing - conquest and dominance of their homeland. Many innocent ponies were struggling to stay alive and suffering from the wars.

Azure Phoenix and the large army of his Phoenix Army stood on the edge of hill before his rivals' army. They all armed with their weapons as they all ready to attack their enemies down.

"Powerful though he was, Azure Phoenix was yet one warlord among many."

"Man... This is seriously whacked," Rainbow Dash commented in concern, "But seriously, even though, Cruez is dead, and the war goes on?"

Applejack groaned in concern, "Guess everypony wants to rule the world."

"It's ashamed to see the once peaceful land turned into war zone," Rarity commented in concern.

Twilight Sparkle sighed, "It is, Rarity." She turned and looked at the Land of Ma map. She glanced at Xuchang Province, where her mentor resides, "Either way, let's pay a little visit to Azure Phoenix. Maybe he needs some help."

Her friends chatted and nodded in agreement with Twilight Sparkle as they turned and looked at Xuchang Province location.

Summer, 153 A.E.

Twilight Sparkle and her friends gazed upon the city of Xuchang Province. They awed in surprise and amazement. Not only the sighting of ancient cities looked amazing and beautiful, but also how happy the ponies and creatures of Ma are for chatting, shopping and working together. The area was even tightly secured and defended by Azure Phoenix's soldiers and patrols.

"Twilight, darling..." Rarity said, "When you told us about this place is dazzling and beautiful, you really meant it!"

Applejack laughed a bit, "It sure bring back some memories, doesn't it?"

"It sure does," Twilight Sparkle nodded in agreement.

"So, how are we gonna find Azure Phoenix?" Rainbow Dash asked curiously.

"You there!"

Everyone yelped in surprise. They turned to their back as they found the black yet fierce veteran humanoid dragon with strong wings and two antler's horns worn the navy Chinese Imperial Phoenix Armor standing before them, along with his Dragon Soldiers.

Rainbow Dash gasped, "Strict Stalker?"

"I didn't know he works here!" Rarity said in surprise. She yelped in realization, "Never mind! I remember now. He works for Azure Phoenix."

Strict Stalker approached to Twilight Sparkle and asked, "Are you Princess Twilight Sparkle?"

"Uh yes?" Twilight Sparkle admitted.

Strict Stalker and his soldiers kneed down and bowed before her. He continued, "My lady, please come with me. Lord Azure has been expecting you."

"I've been expected?" Twilight Sparkle asked in surprise.

Strict Stalker nodded, "Of course. You are the oracle that sees all, knows all, and even see the future ahead of us. Please, follow me."

Strict Stalker and his soldiers headed off while escorting Twilight Sparkle and her friends to Azure Phoenix's home now. And at the same time, Twilight Sparkle and her friends were having some chats.

"Oracle, huh," Applejack said in surprise, "That's something you don't see everyday. Other than being princess, of course."

Rarity nodded, "Indeed. Who knew that you'd be a celebrity here in ancient times as well?"

"Yeah. Looks like everyone really likes ya," Rainbow Dash remarked before snickered, "Especially Azure Phoenix."

Twilight Sparkle blushed, "Please. I'm nothing special. Just helping my friends out. That's all."

"Yeah. Keep telling yourself, Twi," Ben Valorheart joked, "I wonder what does Azure Phoenix wants from us."

"Why don't we ask him first?" Nyx suggested happily.

"Good idea," Twilight Sparkle commented, "Something must be happening..."

At Xuchang Palace, Azure Phoenix gathered his four officers including his own advisor - James Ratio an aquamarine Earth Pony with gray mane, small mustache and short tail, and his cutie mark is Chinese Brush and Scrolls, worn ancient grand advisor's robes and hat. The warlord was sitting down on his seat while facing to his officers.

"Let us begin," Azure Phoenix said firmly and calmly, "Deliver the ideas you have."

"My lord, even though the threat has been dealt with, we should remain vigilant," Anger said firmly and calmly, "You can never tell when the enemy strikes back. I suggest the training to keep them fit and shape for battles."

"We need more soldiers." Armorhide suggested, "Other than strategies, we need more numbers to take both offense and defense against the enemies. I also heard that there were villagers lost their jobs and homes during the war. Let us invite them to our cause."

James Ratio hummed thoughtfully, "I heard rumors that a unicorn, possess a highly intellect in strategies and foreseen the enemies' fates. His name is Schemetrick. And he's been searching for his place in the military army. I suggest we allow him in now, my lord." He cleared his throat a bit, "My lord, make decision. We await for your orders now."

Azure Phoenix gave in some thoughts about the suggestion his allies make. As he was thinking carefully and firmly, his soldier arrived and whispered to the lord about it. He was surprised and shocked about it. He gave a firm nod. The soldier nodded as he headed off.

As Azure Phoenix was thinking about the suggestion, Strict Stalker and his Dragon Guards have arrived and escorted Twilight Sparkle and her friends to the chamber, where everyone but Anger awed in surprise and amazement upon looking at Twilight Sparkle.

"Oh my... You're the Oracle!" James Ratio said in surprise. He laughed a bit while bowed down humbly, "It's an honor to meet you, Oracle Twilight."

Armorhide bowed humbly, "Welcome back, Oracle Twilight."

"Long time no see, Oracle!" Navy Arrow greeted happily.

While her friends laughed amusingly, Twilight Sparkle blushed, "Please. I'm not Oracle. Just making a lucky guess about it."

"In my experience, there is no luck, Twilight," Azure Phoenix said calmly and firmly, "For your case, Twilight, you make an excellent oracle and strategist due to your highly intellect and prediction. It'd be shame to let your talents be wasted. Perhaps, you'd be interest to join us. And I certainly believe that you want your friends to join in as well. If so, then anything you desire will be granted."

"Really," Mane Five, Nyx, Spike and Phobos asked hopefully, "Anything?!"

"No thanks, Lord Azure," Twilight Sparkle said calmly, "I'd just go around and help ponies in need. That's all."

Azure Phoenix sighed in disappointment, "As I say, it's such a waste. But I won't bother you much. I will ask your opinion."

"Sure. What can I do?" Twilight Sparkle asked. As Azure Phoenix told her, she gave in some thoughts. She smiled, "I think it's best that you take Ratio's suggestion. Then, you'll do Anger's and Armorhide's later. After all, having strategical and intelligent pony on your side will help you gain more territories."

Azure Phoenix hummed while nodded in agreement, "Yes. I thought the same thing." He turned to his officers, "You heard the Oracle. Make it happen!"

"Yes, sir," Phoenix Officers exclaimed firmly and proudly.

All Phoenix Officers headed off at once to perform their duty and mission. Anger was the last one as he gave the glare at Twilight Sparkle before headed off.

"What's with him?" Pinkie Pie asked.

Applejack hummed, "If I guess correctly, he's jealous and doesn't trust her much."

"I don't get it," Rainbow Dash said in concern and annoyance, "Twilight's just giving suggestion. And plus, he's our friend."

"Don't you mean 'he'll be' our friend," Fluttershy corrected Rainbow Dash, "After all, this is past, not future."

Rainbow Dash groaned, "Right..."

"Still..." Ben Valorheart said in concern as he looked at Azure Phoenix and Twilight Sparkle chatting happily and peacefully. He hummed, "Since when did Azure Phoenix became interested of recruiting Twilight only?"

"Good point. He only interested in her when mummy became an Alicorn," Nyx said in concern.

Two days later...

Schemetrick - A peach-colored unicorn with a gentle blond short mane in bun shaped with golden headwear and a short tail worn a navy ancient strategist's robe with white sleeved vest and blue cape, his cutie mark is Chinese Character - 'Knowledge' with two balls and a pole, has arrived and entered the chamber, where he met up with both Azure Phoenix and Twilight Sparkle.

"So, you must be Schemetrick," Azure Phoenix asked calmly and firmly.

Schemetrick nodded and bowed humbly, "Indeed, I am. It is an honor to meet you, Lord Azure and Oracle Twilight Sparkle."

Twilight Sparkle yelped in concern, "Please, stop calling me that!"

Schemetrick chuckled a bit, "Of course. My apologies. I'm too humble. Plus, I'm a bit thirsty."

"In that case, let's have a drink and chat," Azure Phoenix said calmly, "I'd like to get to know more about you."

"Of course, I'd like to know more about you," Schemetrick said calmly.

Azure Phoenix, Schemetrick and Twilight Sparkle were having both a chat and drink together as they wanted to get to know more from each other.

"So, tell me what is it that you desire?" Schemetrick asked calmly, "I am very sure that you didn't conquer the land for glory and conquest. It must be something else."

Azure Phoenix hummed, "Is that so? What makes you think of that?"

"For once, you're not like any warlord I've met and encountered especially Noble Guild. You're different from them. You must have something else other than uniting the land. And so, the question remains what do you actually desire?"

"I see... You can tell the differences of warlords' characteristic including mine. You're smarter than I thought. Perhaps, Ratio was right about you."

"Ratio maybe good at politics and selecting talented ponies, but not best at military strategies. Or should I say, he's the second best at it."

"And you'd think he'd be please with your insults?"

"He may get a bit of insensitive, but he won't let a little insult gets in his way and responsibility to you, my lord."

"Interesting..." Azure Phoenix said in surprise while smiling, "Very well. I'll tell you my secret of ambition. I maybe an ambitious pony, but I'm better than those greedy and corrupted fools."

Schemetrick smiled, "How so?"

"As you know about our homeland, ponies are driven by our desires, and so our hearts drive us forward. Uncontrolled, this leads to chaos." Azure Phoenix said calmly yet poetically, "The current state of the land is testament to this. But I strongly believed that we are capable of better. Desires can be controlled with strength, ruled with reason. Order can be restored. And now, this is my time to realize the ambition. And I required the best of minds, strength and talents."

Twilight Sparkle squealed happily, "Awesome!" Everyone looked at her oddly and uneasily. She giggled uneasily, "Sorry! I just love your poem and speech!"

"Wow. You have a fan, Lord Azure," Schemetrick chuckled amusingly. He cleared his throat, "So, you wish to control the land... with strength and reason?"

"Exactly," Azure Phoenix said firmly, "And at the pinnacle of such a world, I require a true symbol of power and reason..."

"The Emperor..."

"Yes. Without him, only a strong and wise leader must take over and lead. I've spoke of my reason. It's your turn, Schemetrick."

"Very well. As you must know, I wish to make the difference for the world. And to do that, I must find and served the most worthiness and powerful warlord, who appreciate not just strategies but the respect and unity of me and my colleagues. However, so far no one especially Noble Guild."

"What can you tell me about him?"

"Most foolish and indecisive warlord I ever met. Though he has many officers and advisors, but they all lack of teamwork and respect to each other. And I knew he will fall not by his enemies, but the pride. That will be his great downfall."

"Yes. I thought the same thing..." Azure Phoenix said calmly. He smiled, "As Ratio and Oracle Twilight Sparkle has spoken, you are truly intelligent unicorn I ever met. You are truly the pony, who will help me achieve my ambition. And I don't need to tell what I think next."

Schemetrick gasped before smiled, "I am honored, my lord! You are truly the lord I wish to serve."

Azure Phoenix held his hoof up, "Welcome to the Phoenix Army, my strategist."

Schemetrick smiled as he shook Azure Phoenix's hoof, "Thank you, my lord."

Twilight Sparkle squealed happily, "Awesome..."

"However, a threat looms over the Ma's Central." Narrator narrated, "It was then that remnants of the Yellow Scarf Rebels rose up again. They moved from Qing Province, looking to assassinate the viceroy of Yan Province."

Coming from the Qing Province, the remaining army of Yellow Scarf Rebels were charging and attacking Yan Province. Azure Phoenix received the message as he led the army to Yan Province to fight and defeat the Yellow Scarf Rebels.

"Having made a name for himself in the battle against Cruez, Azure Phoenix was requested to come to the assistance of Yan Province...

Fall, 156 A.E.

Anger and Strict Stalker went out for hunting, along with small group of soldiers. Ben Valorheart, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Nyx and Phobos were following them from behind.

"Wanna tell me why you follow us?" Anger asked suspiciously, "If you think you want to join the army, think again."

Strict Stalker nodded, "Indeed. Lord Azure Phoenix has no interest in you, only Oracle Sparkle."

"As if," Rainbow Dash remarked amusingly, "Plus, Twilight is not interested. Got it?"

Anger scoffed, "Talk to my cousin. He won't stop asking her to join his cause..."

"Yeah. I noticed that," Ben Valorheart said suspiciously, "Why? Why her?"

Nyx shrugged, "Hard to tell what Grandpa Azure wanted."

Phobos groaned, "Hard to tell what the hell is going on..."

"So, what are we doing here again?" Pinkie Pie asked happily.

And just before Anger could answer, three Yellow Scarf Rebels came down from the mountain as they all armed with swords and spears.

"Hey, this is our turf! What do you think you're doing?!" Yellow Scarf Rebel demanded.

Anger smirked, "Hunting tigers."

Yellow Scarf Rebels yelped in concern upon hearing what Anger has said. They all screamed like little girls as they quickly ran off at once.

"Seriously?! Tigers?!" Pinkie Pie asked in shock and concern, "Are you guys cannibals?!"

"Nope. I just like hunting and killing tiger to hon my skills," Anger said firmly, "Plus, I don't eat meats, boneheaded pony."

"Hey! I'm not made of bones! Skullcrusher is!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed in annoyance.

Strict Stalker nodded, "And I'm the only cannibal to eat meats."

"Who doesn't know that?" Phobos asked in annoyance.

"What are you leading the enemy here for?!" The grumpy voice demanded in anger, which attracted Ben Valorheart and his friends' attention. He groaned, "Baah! I'll get rid of them for you!"

As everyone was waiting, they encountered A bald brownish muscular Earth Pony with short gray tail worn in his Phoenix Barbarian Armor-like, his cutie mark is axe and skull icon. Three Yellow Scarf Rebels were behind of him while shaking and quivering in fears.

Ben Valorheart and his team gasped, "Rhino Armor?!"

"You know him?!" Strict Stalker asked in surprise. And just before Ben Valorheart and his team could answer, he interrupted, "Don't answer. I rather not find out."

"It's them! You teach them a lesson, will ya?!" Yellow Scarf Rebel exclaimed in concern.

Yellow Scarf Rebels turned and headed off at once. Rhino Armor groaned in annoyance while glaring at his 'friends' running off.

"So, what are you gonna teach us?" Pinkie Pie asked happily. Everyone glared at her. She yelped, "What?! I was asking."

Rhino Armor huffed angrily, "They feed me once, and now I've got to look after their sorry hides..."

And just before anyone could ask, Rhino Armor turned while launched his thrusting punch at Anger, who quickly moved back at once.

Anger whistled, "Hey, kids. Wanna tell me how strong he is?"

"Very strong and unstoppable juggernaut," Rainbow Dash remarked amusingly, "He can literally punch the walls down."

Dropped the sword down, Anger smirked, "Good to hear. I'll test him with my hooves now."

"Hmm..." Rhino Armor hummed amusingly while cracked his head and hooves tightly, "You might be worth the trouble. After that, I'm gonna skin the dragon for my new clothes."

Phobos screamed, "Don't let him kill me!"

"Like I care," Anger remarked amusingly, "Bring it on, baldy!"

Rhino Armor smirked before roared wildly as he charged at Anger, who remained calm and firm. Both of them began fighting and punching against each other fiercely and wildly for few rounds.

"That's gonna leave the mark," Pinkie Pie remarked in surprise.

Twilight Sparkle and the rest of her friends were inside of Phoenix Army Main Camp, where Azure Phoenix and his remaining officers including Schemetrick were discussing and planning to fight against the Yellow Scarf Rebels.

Armorhide spoke up in a stern voice, "Our enemy is Yellow Scarf, though they have no officer of note left. But they still have numbers, and their tenacity must not be underestimated."

Schemetrick nodded as he spoke, "I agree. Though I suspect that they came here for than just expanding territories, they're here for a great reason."

"True. The land has been scarred since the war has begun. Many villagers lost their homes and families. Something must have driven them here." James Ratio adds in question.

"Weird, now how could that happened?" Fluttershy ask a bit worried.

"Who knows? We have to at least capture them and find out of what's going on." Twilight said in concern.

Anger and Strict Stalker have returned while Ben Valorheart and his team reunite with others. They even brought Rhino Armor, who was rubbing his head gently.

"Well, glad to see you girls here." Twilight said, giving a soft smile to her longtime friends.

"We were busy with other stuff." Rainbow remarks with a shrug.

"And not worried about some intense silly plot point later in this story!" Pinkie squeals happily. The others decided not to be concerned about that; That Pinkie, still being Pinkie.

"We were hunting tigers, but we seem to have caught something better. He's strong, and me and the kids can vouch for his courage. He made a good bodyguard." Anger said with a proud look.

Strict Stalker nodded, adding, "It's true, my lord. He's the perfect candidate. His name is Rhino Armor."

"Oh yes, as tough as Rockhoof and brave as Flash Magnus." Applejack boasted, though she kept quiet before the past ones ask what she's on about.

"Right, much better than some ponies." Rarity said thoughtfully.

Azure Phoenix approached to Rhino Armor, as he looked and inspected the warrior's appearance and muscles.

Azure Phoenix pauses to think before speaking, "Very well, he's hired."

"Huh?! You mean, I'm your bodyguard? Are you sure?" Rhino Armor asked in surprise by this decision. He would've thought someone like Azure Phoenix would be unsure about this!

Blazefist even agrees on his thought, asking, "Sir, are you sure? He's a bandit."

Schemetrick chuckles, speaking to the unsure Rhino Armor, "Do not worry, my friend. My lord knows what he's doing especially a pony like you comeswith the highest recommendation."

"Really," Rhino Armor asked. Everyone nodded. He blushed while adding, "Gee... I don't know what to say."

"Just say thank you. And you'd better get used to it. Protecting our lord is no easy job. Better than let Lax do the work." Navy Arrows joke while pointing a taunting hoof at Laxtinct, much to his chagrin.

"Hey!" Laxtinct protested then he sighed, "I'm just nervous being around with him, that's all. Either way, good luck, Rhino."

Anger nodded while crossed his hooves, adding, "Rhino, I'm entrusting you with our lord's safety."

"Don't let us down, general. We're all counting on you to protect him." James Ratio said, giving out a serious look to Rhino Armor. The last thing this pony wants is for the new bodyguard to mess this up.

"To think that I would be made as his bodyguard... You all don't have the problem with that?" Rhino Armor ask the others puzzled and a bit concerned.

Armorhide smiles, patting him on the back as he spoke, "If our lord has accepted you, then I am not one to question him. As long as you continue to keep him safe, of course."

"Trust me; I got a feeling that he may." Ben said with an assuring smile.

"Right, if there's anyone who can get the job done, it will be him." Nyx said with a happy squee, she can trust Rhino Armor to keep Azure Phoenix safe.

Rhino Armor nodded, he gives a salute as he spoke, "Understand. I won't let you down! I promised."

"My lord, what about the rumors? The one involved of a giant pony in Yan Province? We should be worry about him. I heard he's even stronger as Rhino Armor." Blazefist said seriously. If there's a giant pony at all, it could be a big problem!

"Don't worry, lieutenant. If we do come across with him, Rhino Armor will handle him." Schemetrick said in assuratrion.

Azure Phoenix nodded as he spoke, "That is correct, Schemetrick. Nevertheless, we will overcome him soon enough." With that, the lover of Celestia and future ally of Equestria turned to his officers and soldiers to give out the orders, "The time is now. Let's go, Rhino Armor. It's time to see what you're made of."

Rhino Armor nodded, exclaiming, "At once, commander! I mean, my lord!"

"Oracle Twilight, I wish you to accompany me and Schemetrick. Valorheart, Dash and Applejack will assist Anger on battle against the enemies. The rest of you will remain here."

Pinkie Pie groaned, "How come we don't get to go out and have fun?"

"Uh, Pinkie. That's a really bad idea to say it." Fluttershy said meekly. Not only if saying that is true, it may upset their new friends.

"Ms. Pie, this is not a game. This is war! It is our duty to protect citizens at all cost. I suggest you take things serious for once." Armorhide exclaims seriously. He seems a bit annoyed that Pinkie isn't taking this whole thing seriously.

"Yeah; otherwise, you'd get out of here." Blazefist said in agreement, feeling that Pinkie should leave if she can't be able to do so.

Anger groaned, "I'd never understand of why and how could she befriend with nimrods like them."

"Geez, for future allies, they are total jerks." Rainbow whispers to her friends, a bit annoyed by the Phoenix Army's attitude towards Pinkie and the rest of Twilight's friends.

"Yep, you done would've thought they give us more confidence." Applejack whispers right back.

Luckily, the members didn't seem to hear the two's comments. Schemetrick continues his conversation with Rhino, "Either way, Rhino Armor, protect our lord and oracle at all cost."

"For the last time, stop calling me 'Oracle'!" Twilight exclaims in irritation. She wants to be called by her name, not by the title given to her!

"Awww, relax, Oracle." Rainbow teased Twilight a bit. "You are always just an egghead."

"Shoo, stop spoiling the end of books." Rarity teased Twilight as well.

"Right, got that from a fortune cookie?" Fluttershy giggled, not resisting the urge to tease as well.

"Wow, betcha she didn't saw that one coming." Pinkie jokes a bit, making the other girls laughs as well.

Twilight Sparkle rolls her eyes, resisting the urge to laugh along. She comments, "Very funny, girls. Very funny," The Alicorn knew that they were doing this all in good fun.

"All units, prepare to march! Defeat and capture the rebels alive! I want to interrogate them!" Azure Phoenix orders his men sternly. The time has come to capture the rebels and find out what they know, at all cost!

"Lord!" Everyone exclaims, giving a big salute to their lord.

As the gate opened, Azure Phoenix and his Phoenix Army charged into the battlefield. Azure Phoenix, Schemetrick, Rhino Armor and small numbers of 100 soldiers headed off while Twilight Sparkle followed them to the west. Ben Valorheart and his team assisted Anger and his army on the north. James Ratio and Armorhide remained behind with the rest of Mane Six.

Nyx, Spike and Phobos sneaked out while followed Twilight Sparkle.

As Azure Phoenix and his army continued marching to the north, they encountered some ambushes and Yellow Scarf Rebels from forest. Luckily, Rhino Armor charged and engaged them.

Just as Anger and Strict Stalker has decribed him, he strongly and fiercely punched and knocked them hard at ease, with his bare hoof. Rhino Armor also used his Demon Axe in killing them as well.

Azure Phoenix gave a smile of approval, speaking, "Magnificent... Rhino Armor is truly powerful."

Schemetrick smiles as he answers, "Indeed, my lord. He's definitely fit for bodyguard."

"Yes, I'm glad he did. Thank you for accompanying me, Twilight. It eases my concerns."

"Please, I didn't do anything. Besides, it's your officers, who did a lot of hard works for you." Twilight said, feeling a blush of embarrassment for the compliments.

"True. It was still your handiwork for recruiting me to his lord's service. And therefore, you deserve some credits." Schemetrick points out; that made her blush even redder.

"Sure, why not? But Rhino Armor is recruited by Ben and others."

"Perhaps...I wish to speak with you, Twilight. This involved of your friends." Azure Phoenix said, giving a look of concern to the Alicorn. Twilight Sparkle looked at him as he continues, "Do your friends truly take anything serious or even put their loyalties to you?"

"Well, they may tease or have fun, but they often do so." Twilight said, not sure where the Lord of Ma is going with this, but the way he say it is rather unassuring.

"Not based on my perspective. Tell me, have they ever let you down or even abandoned you before? Because of their characteristic and behavior, I highly doubt they actually agreed with you for everything."

"Welll....okay, there's one thing when they didn't take my concerns over my friendship reports to a certain teacher involving being tardy....and an incident at a wedding that I rather NOT talk about....and there's one adventure when a force invaded our homeland and we are trying to find a way to save it..."

Azure Phoenix gave an annoyed sigh as he continues, "Just as I thought. As the princess, you should enforce your rule on them, not they on you. You should not let them harm and bully you because you are their leader. And the leaders make the hard decision, not your officers. They are always right."

"Not always, Lord Azure. I made a lot of mistakes. And the worst I ever did is I stolen the pearl from a Hippogriff because I need it to save Equestria from Storm K-!" Twilight yelps a bit, perhaps now isn't the time to reveal the Storm King's invasion. She quickly "corrects" herself, "I mean, Mystic Ponies! I hurt my friends painfully. I really regret of that."

Azure Phoenix scoffed, "You shouldn't feel. You do what you must to protect Equestria from Mystic Ponies. And in fact, Hippogriffs are bunch of selfish and unreliable fools. They protect themselves, not helping others."

"But it was wrong! I ruined my friendship!"

"What is more important? Your home or silly friendship with strangers, who is willing to use and betray their own allies."

"I... I... I don't know... I just want to help both. That's all." Twilight said in hesitation. Her mentor is putting the princess in a bind here. While he was correct on some points, he isn't always right, right?

Azure Phoenix just sighs as he shakes his head, "Poor naive fool. I truly sympathize and pity you. It's not about friendship. This is about responsibility to your ponies, not others. And your friends failed to do so.” Twilight Sparkle was silent. I was right, am I, Twilight?"

"Y-Yes; But still, even though we don't always agree, we always made it out at the end."

"I truly impress with your optimistic, Twilight. But ask yourself this, when the times comes with choosing, will they stand beside you or betray you?"

"What do you mean?" Twilight ask, uncertain. She doesn't like what Azure seems to be saying at all once more.

"I know your friends have different loyalties to some certain individuals such as Rainbow Dash and Rarity pledged theirs to Tiger Clan. And when I do cross blades with their allies, they stand with them than with you. If that happens, what will you do?" Azure Phoenix asks Twilight seriously.

Twilight Sparkle was in shock and concern about Azure Phoenix's question.

Twilight Sparkle shook her head as she exclaims, "It won't happen! I won't betray them as they won't do to me."

"I hope so, Twilight. Because if it happen, they will betray you like they did to you when Mystic Ponies invaded your home; if I were you, I trust myself than others. As the old saying goes, 'I'd rather betray the world than let it betray me'." Azure Phoenix said seriously once more. Twilight looks stunned, if he serious or just testing her? She hopes he is testing her!

Twilight Sparkle muttered quietly so Azure won't hear her, "You're just like Tempest. It's actually Storm King invaded home in present."

Schemetrick chose this time to speak up, "Either way, we should focus on the mission now."

"Yes, you're right. But Twilight, I'd suggest you join my army, Twilight. It is a safe haven, where nopony will ever harm or disagree with you again. You'll be treated fairly, my dear." Azure said calmly to the mare. He is offering her haven from those who would harm or disagree with her apparently.

"I-I'll think about it." Twilight said in hesitation. While Azure did make some good points, she can't go and betray her friends; right?

"Good to hear."

"My lord, watch out!" Rhino Armor yells out in alarm as he looks up and notices something.

Azure Phoenix and Twilight Sparkle looked up as they found Yellow Scarf Archers on top of trees and cliff as they armed and aimed their arrows at both of them.

As enemy archers fired their arrows, Rhino Armor jumped in while pushed Azure Phoenix and Twilight Sparkle back while blocking and tearing down arrows to pieces. He then threw the swinging axe at them in decapitating them like throwing a boomerang at them.

Rhino Armor roared, "Alright, who's next?!" Yellow Scarf Rebels yelped in concern as they ran off at once. "My lord; Oracle Twilight, are you alright?"

"Rhino, you saved us!" Twilight exclaims, relieved by this. They would've been dead if Rhino haven't warned them in time.

"Of course, it's my duty."

Azure Phoenix chuckled a bit, "Well done, Rhino. Well done, indeed. You're truly a mighty warrior from an old ages."

Schemetrick nodded as he adds, "Indeed, we make the right decision." It was indeed a good decision of recruiting Rhino Armor as a bodyguard after all.

Rhino Armor laughed uneasily, "It was nothing, my lord..."

"Let us continue our work. I hope you choose the right side, Twilight when the time has come..." Azure Phoenix said calmly to Twilight, this made her unsure about that.

To make the incident worst for her, Schemetrick puts in his little two bits, "Oracle Twilight, although your dedication and loyalty to your friends is admirable, there are times that you must make hardest decision, not for your friends but the ponies. It may hurt them but it's for the good of the land. Please, think about it. I suggest you accept this offer than decline it."

"Schemetrick..." Twilight said with a gulp. Is everypony in the past so neglectful on friendship? It makes her wonder why the book even put her in this position.

"After all, I must thank you for recruiting me to join the military. And I am proud of it. I'll do everything I can to help my lord to achieve it. But can your friends do the same for you?"

"I... I don't know..."

"Think about it as my master has said..." Schemetrick said calmly. It makes Twilight wonders if he even senses her hesitation or not.

While Twilight Sparkle was distracted in thinking about Azure Phoenix's offer, three familiar little ones were hiding behind bushes and overheard the event.

"This can't be good..." Spike mumbles to the others quietly.

"I know. If Storm King hadn't come and invade our home, mummy wouldn't be in doubts of her friendship with daddy and others." Nyx adds in agreement. She has other thoughts while adding, "Well, not daddy. At least, you, I, Megan, daddy and Phobos stayed with her after that little fight during that time."

"Well, they did mess up in the first place for being friends with a cat and pirates." Phobos remarked, rolling his eyes at that.

"We were there, Phobos! We joined the fun while Twilight was busy to find Hippogriffs and trying to save Equestria, all by herself! We've make her pressure a lot. And now, I think she's still mad with us about the mess." Spike said, worried that Twilight may not have gotten over what happened during the adventure against the Storm King and his forces.

Nyx nodded yet points out, "No, she can't be. She admitted she was wrong about saying horrible words to them or not even making some friends."

"That doesn't stop her to reconsider it. Every word Azure Phoenix has said is true about us and her. We let her down."

"So, what now," Phobos asked, a little worried. Azure seems to be trying to get Twilight to abandon her true friends.

"We have to make it up. We've gotta let the others know about it. We can't let Azure Phoenix convinced her to join his side! If she did, the history is gonna change differently!" Spike said, worried. If Twilight goes over to Azure's side, at least in the present, things may not be good for the history.

"If he let us to..."

"It doesn't matter. We have to show mummy that our friendship with her never stops. even the slightest mistakes we made." Nyx said in determination.

"Yeah; Come on! Let's get back to camp now!" Spike exclaims. The trio better leave before anyone even notices that they're here.

Anger and his warriors were engaging and battling with the Yellow Scarf Rebels with ease and swift. Anger was riding his Dragon Steed while swinging his scimitar at them. Navy Arrow fired his arrows at his enemies. Strict Stalker roared wildly as he swung and slashed his trident at his enemies to pieces. Blazefist and Laxtinct covered for each other's backs while fighting the enemy troops.

Ben Valorheart, Rainbow Dash and Applejack were helping them as well.

The Phoenix Army have defeated and chased off the Yellow Scarf Rebels now.

"Hoo doggy; that's what I am talking about," Applejack cheers wildly.

"Oh yeah, go home, you yellow bellies!" Rainbow taunts the fleeing enemies.

Laxtinct sighed, "That's the last of them. I can't take it anymore."

"We still fail to capture one of them alive." Strict Stalker said in annoyance. They should've at least capture one of the enemies for interrogation!

"We'll get them again. What's more important that we get the job done. " Anger said, undaunted by this fact.

"Yeah; I just hope cousin is alright." Navy Arrow said seriously.

Blazefist gasped, "Hey, did you feel that?!"

STOMP! Anger and the Phoenix Army were in shock as they felt the ground was shaking.

"Whoa! What's shakin'?" Rainbow jokes a bit, much to the present ones' annoyance.

"Really," Ben asks Rainbow dryly. "You make a dumb joke like that at a time like this?"

Everyone stood while armed with their weapons as they encountered A fat Earth Pony with black mane in bun-shape and short tail worn a blue vest and an armor, his cutie mark is club, a bowl of rice and vegetables.

"Are you the one been messing up with our field?!" The newcomer roars out in fury. Although the army doesn't seem to know him, it didn't take long for the ones of the present to recognize him.

"Is that-?!" Applejack gasps in alarm.

"It's him!" Rainbow gulps a bit, recognizing who the attacker is now.

"Of course; The Giant Pony is Bullhound!" Ben gasps a bit in amazement yet worry.

"I don't know who you are. But I won't let you destroy the field. I won't let you all." Bullhound said in determination and defiance. No one destroys this field and gets away with it!

"Wait, whoa, whoa, pal! Stop," Rainbow exclaims as she waves her hooves around like a mad pony. "You don't have to do this!"

"Right, at least talk before taking action!" Ben exclaims in agreement, even Laxtinct is waving for Bullhound to stop, getting scared of what may come next.

With all of his might and strength, Bullhound lifted a giant rock up high. He turned and glared at his enemies. He growled in anger, which scared and shocked the Phoenix Army.

"Geez and I done thought Rockhoof was strong!" Applejack exclaims with widened eyes.

"Who's Rockhoof?" Anger asks, raising an eyebrow of curiosity about that.

"Ehh, just...somepony I know."

"This is gonna be the problem." Blazefist said seriously, knowing this attacker is going to be a problem to deal with now.

"Incoming boulder," Laxtinct screams out. Bullhound is about to release another boulder at the army!

Bullhound threw the giant boulder right at The Phoenix Army. They all quickly moved and dodged the attacks before they could get squashed.

Bullhound then wielded his giant mace, snarling, "I'm ready to fight."

Applejack gulps, "This is so not good..."

BOOM; The loud explosion and ground shaking, which shocked and surprised Azure Phoenix and his small team.

"What was that?!" Rhino Armor yells out in alarm, everyone looks to see some smoke rising from the horizion.

Schemetrick spoke out seriously, "That smoke... It's coming from Anger's main units!"

Twilight Sparkle gasped, "Ben! My friends! I have to help them now!"

Twilight Sparkle trotted off at once.

"Rhino; follow her. Protect the Oracle!" Azure Phoenix ordered to Rhino Armor quickly. If the Oracle is hurt, it may cause the army to lose their advantage or worst!

Rhino Armor nodded, yelling out, "Understood!"

As soon as Rhino Armor headed off, Azure Phoenix and Schemetrick have some talks.

"What do you think, my friend?" Azure Phoenix asks Schemetrick on his two bits.

Schemetrick pauses as he spoke, "If I guess correctly, then I'd say that we've found our giant pony..."

"Let's find out of how strong he can really be. I wish to see it, with my own eyes."

SCREAM! Pinkie Pie was screaming as she and her friends were running away as they were all badly wounded and injured by Bullhound's attacks. The Phoenix Officers and their Army were dealing and fighting with Bullhound, who was still angry and upset about his rice field being ruined and messed up. Some of Yellow Scarf Rebels came and joined the giant pony on the battlefield as they were battling with the Phoenix Soldiers.

Strict Stalker and Laxtinct charged in as they were pushing Bullhound back. However, the giant pony withstood the attack as he quickly swung and pushed them right on the tents hard. Anger and Blazefist charged in while Navy Arrow was firing his arrows at him. Bullhound managed to dodge and avoid the arrows. Both Anger and Blazefist jumped up while slamming their weapon at him, who swung his mace at them off. And at the same time, he grabbed a rock as he threw it right at Navy Arrow, who quickly moved back before fell down. Armorhide readied his shield while James Ration readied his Ice Spell as they were about to face Bullhound. But instead, they got rammed and pushed aside hard.

Bullhound turned and glared at Ben Valorheart and his friends. They all were worried and scared as they knew what he was going to do next.

Bullhound groaned, "You're next!"

"You'd think he's still mad at us about the field?" Rainbow Dash asked in concern.

Applejack gulped, "Definitely!"

"Here he comes!" Nyx, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy screamed in fear.

As Bullhound was charging at Ben Valorheart and his team, something flew in while ramming him off to the supply crates. They all gasped as they cheered and came towards a familiar friend. They all gave her a hug.

"I'm so happy that you're safe!" Twilight Sparkle exclaimed in relief. She sighed, "I thought I lost you all again."

"Fat chance," Rainbow Dash exclaimed proudly.

Pinkie Pie nodded, "Yeah. You can't get rid of us, so easily."

"Indeed, you're our friends," Rarity said calmly, "We also hate to think of losing you again. That is too many times for us to handle."

"Aw... Thank you," Twilight Sparkle thanked calmly, "But who attacked you all?" She turned and looked at the pony, who got out from the crates. She gasped, "Bullhound?!"

Bullhound groaned, "You'd pick a wrong pony to mess with! And I'm now angry! Get ready to feel my wrath!"

Bullhound roared in anger as he charged straight at Twilight Sparkle and her friends. And just before he could kill them, Rhino Armor rammed him off. He then came to Twilight Sparkle and her friends. He then readied his Demon Axe for a fight.

"I will not let you harm the Oracle and her friends," Rhino Armor snarled, "I'd give my life for her and my lord!"

Bullhound groaned as he readied his mace, "Fine. Let's do this!"

Rhino Armor and Bullhound screamed wildly as they both charged and began their duel. They both fiercely and determinedly swung and clashed their axe and mace at each other, and sometimes, they also dodged and blocked the attacks for few rounds.

Rhino Armor slammed his axe by top. He got blocked by Bullhound's handler before pushed him back. The fat pony roared in anger as he stomped his hooves very hard like a mad bull. He charged and rolled himself straight at muscular pony, who quickly blocked the attack while withstanding his hooves on the ground hard. After holding him, Rhino Armor then punched Bullhound away from him in falling down.

Bullhound got up as well before dropped his mace down. He charged and gave a hard punch at Rhino Armor, who groaned and snarled in anger about it while dropped his axe down. Both of them began fiercely launching hard punches on each other face, chest and limbs for few rounds. Both Yellow Scarf Rebels and Phoenix Soldiers were cheering for their champions to win the duel.

"Wow! Did you see that?!" Rainbow Dash asked in shock.

Applejack nodded, "They're both equally matched."

"And scary too," Fluttershy said in concern, "I certainly hope that I don't have to face him."

Both Azure Phoenix and Schemetrick have arrived to the scene as well. They both witnessed the fierce duel between Rhino Armor and Bullhound.

"So, that is the giant pony?" Azure Phoenix asked amusingly, "Impressive. His strength will be put into good use."

Schemetrick nodded in agreement, "Yes, my lord. Indeed, he will. And the question is how does the fight ends? Who do you believe will win this duel?"

"Rhino Armor will," Azure Phoenix said confidently and calmly, "He's strong enough to defeat this giant pony."

As if his guess was correct, Rhino Armor gave one last punch on Bullhound, who fell to the ground hard. The Yellow Scarf Rebels came and helped him standing up while armed and readied to fight. Both them and the Phoenix Army were about to fight again.

"That is enough!" Azure Phoenix ordered firmly. Everyone stopped as they turned to him. Both him and Schemetrick approached them as well. He asked firmly, "Why is it that you fight? For your departed lord? To defeat the Qin?"

Yellow Scarf Rebels snarled, "W-We're here because we want to stay alive! We can't live in a war - ravaged land! How... How could you ever understand us?"

"They're right," Bullhound said in concern as he turned and faced to Azure Phoenix, with his sad looks. He continued, "You mustn't! If this keeps up, we all grow hungry! Trampled by fighting, the field and the people will starve!" He screamed in agony, "That's no good!"

"Aw... That's sad..." Pinkie Pie said sadly.

Applejack sighed, "I know how Bull feels. If my hard work on crops ever get destroyed, then I'd be upset because my family need them to eat and live."

"Darling, if that's how you feel," Rarity said in concern, "Maybe you try to ask for help?"

"Help?! Ask for help?!" Yellow Scarf Rebel #1 demanded as he approached to Rarity, "We did but you bloody nobles ignored us! Abandoned us! Starve us to death!"

"And not to mention, our family is dead because of you all!" Yellow Scarf Rebel #2 exclaimed in anger, "You all don't deserve to be government and nobles!"

Yellow Scarf Rebel #3 snarled, "Yeah. Give us gold and food now, bitch!"

"Take it easy, everypony! She's trying to help," Twilight Sparkle pleaded while defending Rarity, "She's not like any nobles. Honest!"

"Liar! Nobles always lies," Yellow Scarf Rebel #1 exclaimed in anger, "You might as well be dead, bitch!"

"Stop it!" Bullhound shouted in anger. Yellow Scarf Rebels stopped. He continued, "I know that you're suffering from inside. But if you steal the crops from other people, then they'll suffer too. And that is why we make our crops in the first place. To get ourselves feed. But we must also defend it too. It's what we need."

"So. That is why you came here for," James Ratio asked amusingly, "To restart your new live."

Schemetrick nodded in understanding, "Yan Province is known for richness in field and crops. And to ensure their field is safe and secured, they must defeat the nobles at all cost."

Armorhide sighed, "I truly pity them for their losses and tragic..."

Azure Phoenix hummed calmly, "So, you were all fighting to protect these crops. But try as you might, you cannot win. Your field will trampled in the end, no matter how many times you fight."

"So... So what should I do?!" Bullhound asked.

"Surrender now," Blazefist said firmly, "You all will in prison for crimes against the Qin."

"Dude, that's harsh..." Laxtinct said in concern.

Strict Stalker huffed, "That is the law, Private. We must obey and abide it at all cost, despite the tragic and losses they have suffered. They cannot escape their consequences."

"No... I have a better solution," Azure Phoenix said firmly. Everyone looked at him. He continued, "The answer was simple all along. This conflict is caused by the fact that the right people aren't in the right place."

"Wait... What's he saying?" Blazefist asked in concern.

Navy Arrow snickered a bit, "I get the feeling that he has some plans for them."

"Join our cause. All of you, you must set aside your differences and come with me." Azure Phoenix answered firmly. Everyone was surprised by his answers. He continued, "Fight to end this chaos, and to make the land rich and fertile once more. I will give you all that desire."

Everyone chatted in surprise and shock by Azure Phoenix's answer. The Yellow Scarf Rebels were giving some thoughts about joining Azure Phoenix's Forces.

"Huh? Seriously," Rhino Armor asked in surprise.

"H-He can't be!" Blazefist exclaimed in disbelief.

"Might as well be, kiddo," Anger scoffed, "Cousin sure knows what's best for the ponies. He'll get them what they needed, but they have to do him a great favor."

"Wow... I didn't expect that," Phobos said in shock.

Nyx smiled, "Grandpa Azure knows what is best for the ponies. And that's why he's known to be the best warlord in Equestria's History."

Bullhound approached Azure Phoenix and asked, "If I fight with you, then the war will end? Everyone will get fed?"

Azure Phoenix smiled, "That's right. Come, join us. You and Rhino Armor would be made as great bodyguards."

Bullhound gasped before cheered happily, "Thank you, my lord!" He turned to his friends, "Hey, everypony! From now on, we fight for these guys! We're gonna get our own land and crops!"

Yellow Scarf Rebels then cheered wildly and happily. They not only joined Azure Phoenix's military army but also they get their farmlands to work and tend in. Both Bullhound and Rhino Armor gave each other a hoof-bump.

"You fight well for a fat pony," Rhino Armor remarked.

Bullhound chuckled, "You too, baldy. I look forward of working with you. We'd make a best team of bodyguard for Lord Azure!"

Rhino Armor smiled, "Yeah. I couldn't agree more."

Azure Phoenix smiled, "With stallions like you both protecting me, I can afford the odd advantages.

"He turn all Yellow Scarf Rebels to his side," Rainbow Dash said in shock, "That's amazing! How does he do that?"

Twilight Sparkle smiled, "Because he's Azure Phoenix - the Hero of Chaos and Emperor and Found of Imperial Phoenix Empire. He's the one of best leaders Equestria and Mystic Realm could ever had..."

Inside the Xuchang Palace, Azure Phoenix was standing before his officers and soldiers on his throne chair stage. They all bowed before him firmly and proudly.

"Future historian says would say this was when Imperial Phoenix Empire's rise to power began." Narrator narrated, "With the rebellion quelled, Azure Phoenix has taken Yan Province and ruined Ma Lou Yang as his secondary territories while still a ruler of Xuchang Province."

After having three territories under his control, Azure Phoenix guided and led Bullhound and the remnants of Yellow Scarf Rebels to these areas. He presented them to tend and work on their new land for farmlands and rebuilding new cities. They all nodded in agreement while they and other officers and soldiers have pledged their services to Azure Phoenix as his loyal and advanced main unit - Imperial Phoenix Army.

"In addition, he welcomed all Yellow Scarf Rebels, who had surrendered into his ranks. They were named as the Imperial Phoenix Army and became main unit of Azure Phoenix's Forces. He even give these lands to them to tend as farmland and rebuild the cities..."

Few months later after the Battle of Yan Province,

At Xuchang Palace, Twilight Sparkle was on her way to guest's room after taking a long bath for relaxation. As she opened the door, a loud explosion of party confetti and streamers poured on her. She was surprised by the noise. She even found her friends holding the cake and presents while the room is decorated with party theme and banner said 'We're Sorry, Twilight!'

"W-What is this?" Twilight Sparkle asked in surprise and concern.

"Sugarcube, we heard what Azure Phoenix told you about all of us," Applejack said in concern. Twilight Sparkle looked surprise. She continued, "Nyx, Spike and Phobos told us about it."

"And that's why we set the 'Apology Party'," Pinkie Pie explained, "Hoping to make everything we have messed up when you're trying to save our home."

"And of course, we also want to say sorry for getting some unwanted attention to us," Rainbow Dash added, "I so need to stop using Sonic Rainboom when Equestria is in danger."

"Girls; don't apologize. None of those were your fault." Twilight Sparkle said calmly, "You were just trying to get help. And besides, it was my fault for-!"

Rarity interrupted, "Darling, please don't say that! If we hadn't been playing around, you wouldn't have done something foolish as stealing pearl from Queen Novo."

Fluttershy nodded, "I agree. And not to mention, we abandoned you again. We thought we've learn from our mistakes. But I guess we didn't."

"Girls, please. Stop blaming yourself for the past..." Twilight Sparkle pleaded while shedding some tears, "I don't like when you're all having guilty tripping for my sake. It's not right for you all to do that. None of them were your fault."

"It doesn't matter, Twilight," Ben Valorheart said calmly as he gave her a comfort hug, "All you need to know is that we'll always be with you. We're all friends."

"And family," Nyx and Spike added as they gave Twilight Sparkle a hug.

Applejack joined in, "Sugarcube, you should know that you can always count on us. We're apples to the core, Twilight; Right, ponies?"

"Right," Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Flutetrshy joined in hugging Twilight Sparkle.

Phobos groaned as he joined the hug, "Ah, what the heck!"

"Just promise me that you won't do mistake again like stealing pearl from Hippogriffs when we're fighting the Storm King?" Pinkie Pie asked happily, "After all, I don't want to gone into argument."

"So, you won't to go and join Azure Phoenix. Don't leave us again?" Ben Valorheart asked hopefully.

Twilight Sparkle smiled, "No, silly. I won't. You're my friends. Nothing is gonna change that ever."

Pinkie Pie giggled, "When we get back to our home from the future, I'm gonna make the best birthday party and apology party ever! It's gonna be something that you won't forget!"

"Sure. Just make sure that you don't overboard as Rainbow Dash," Twilight Sparkle joked.

"Hey! That wasn't funny," Rainbow Dash exclaimed in annoyance.

"Either way, thank you for being my faithful best friends," Twilight Sparkle said calmly. She then smiled, "Who wants some Mooncakes?"

Everyone cheered and party happily inside the guest room as they were having great time. Unknown to them, Laxtinct and Bullhound overheard the noise and chats when they were passing the guest room by. They both were in shock and surprise while looking at each other.

"Wow..." Laxtinct said in shock.

Bullhound nodded, "Yeah... Double wow... Lord Azure Phoenix is gonna be shock about it."

Inside Phoenix Office Chamber, both Bullhound and Laxtinct made some reports to Azure Phoenix, Schemetrick and James Ratio.

"What; is this true?!" Azure Phoenix asked in surprise. Bullhound and Laxtinct nodded. He was in shock and surprise before laughed a bit, "Perfect... This is indeed perfect. I knew there's something special about Twilight Sparkle."

"Yes, indeed she is, my lord." James Ratio said in agreement, "With her, you can easily predict the enemy's movement and also prevent possible disasters. We must recruit her."

"It won't be easy, Master Ratio," Schemetrick said calmly, "Her loyalties and bonds are ties to her friends and family. She won't be easily convinced to join us, with mere gifts and bribes."

"I see. This could be difficult. But I fear that they may join one of your rival warlords such as Virtue Dragon or Tiger Clan. She could be following with them as well. This could be disasters to us."

"Yes, it will be. I doubt I could predict their next movement."

"And that is why we're going to break their friendship for good," Azure Phoenix said firmly, "I want Twilight Sparkle as my oracle and general, at all cost. I will not be denied of taking her by sides. She is the asset to our army."

James Ratio nodded, "I understand, my lord; But how?"

"I don't know the means of manipulation," Schemetrick said in concern, "But I do know someone. Isn't it right, Master Woren Alert?"

"Indeed..." Woren Alert said slyly. A middle aged orange-red mixed Pegasus worn a glasses and the ancient advisor's robe and hat while his cutie mark is red alert siren-like and glasses, emerged from the shadows. He bowed to Azure Phoenix. He smiled, "I assure you, my lord. She will be yours. You have my word."

"Very well, do your best, Woren," Azure Phoenix said firmly. He turned and looked at both Bullhound and Laxtinct, "You have served me well, Bullhound and Corporal. You've brought me the most valuable information I need."

Bullhound and Laxtinct bowed humbly, "Thank you, my lord."

"Twilight Sparkle..." Azure Phoenix said firmly, "I will show you how broken your friendship and bonds with them is truly be. And soon, you will be mine. I promise you for that, oracle..."

Narrator groaned: I heard that, Pinkie. I could easily erase you from existence.

Narrator: Then, be quiet! Honestly, how is it hard to find characters that doesn't ask too many questions and shut up. They're less annoying than Pinkie Pie.
