Sora Claus: The Movie 9

Author's note
Poor Danny. That creep Farquuad has the boy kidnapped! Not good. I like the reviews, no negative or so-so ones this time. Good suggestions, Anonymous. However, in the movie, Santa and B.Z. didn't confront each other at all, so Sora and Farquuad won't do the same. I will find a way to use the quotes though.

Anyway, time for the second to last chapter to begin!

Chapter 9: A Race to Save Christmas

June's group, shocked at what happened to Danny, goes to listen in to Farquuad and Daffy who resumed their conversion before the halfa was caught.
"This is despicable." remarked Daffy rolling his eyes as he sat at the table with his boss who got himself a drink.
"Tell me about it. It's almost like things are against me this year. I don't know what's worst, that kid threatening everything I got planned or you coming to my house late at night." Farquuad mumbled. He paused then turned to the duck saying, "Say, what did you want anyway?"
All right. In the midst of what happened, Daffy almost forgot. The duck knows Farquuad won't like it though.
"Well, it's about those candy canes you got Snoopy to make." Daffy begins to say.
"Yeah?" asked Farquuad puzzled.
"We got to stop them, they are getting dangerous! Something went wrong!"
"What are you talking about?"
Daffy gulps as he continues, "Well that dog said that he has to keep whatever he uses in cold storage because it came from the North Pole, right?"
"Uh huh." said Farquuad bored.
"We started to make the candy canes..."
"Uh huh."
"It's very powerful, let me tell you." said Daffy kinda getting off track for a moment.
"Uh huh." said Farquuad again getting annoyed.
"I figure we could refrigerate it or something..."
"Blast it, Daffy, get to the point! Stop giving me that stuff and making go 'uh huh, uh huh, uh huh' like some idiotic moron!"
"Uh uh." said Daffy sheepishly. He decides to get on with it. "I decided to move some of those things to another part of the factory. I left one near a radiator in the lab. One problem though."
"Which is?" asked the man drinking his drink.
"There is no more lab!"
Farquuad spits out his drink in shock. He can't believe what he just heard. He said, "Excuse me???"
"Those candy canes exploded when they get near extremely hot stuff and goes out of control!" said Daffy frantically. "I think we better stop the new product before it's too late!"
"Are you crazy?!" yelled the short man in disbelief. He is this close to a load of hard cash and now the duck suggested to turn back and stop? "Daffy, we are getting more money than we do now and this time, we earned it the best way we do, by selling the most popular item ever! And now you want me to put a stop to my new idea?"
"Those candy canes could end up killing people, Farquuad!"
"Don't go soft on me, duck! Not when we're close to being stinky rich!"
"Soft? Me? No way! The idea..."
"Daffy, now tell me and tell me straight." Farquuad said interrupting Daffy. "Does anyone else know about this?"
"No way!" protested Daffy honestly. "I mean you told me yourself that if anything happens, you will be the first to know!"
"And Snoopy," Farquuad said concerned. He knew that the so-called elf is living at the factory. If he so much discover one thing wrong...
"Relax. He was sleeping on the other side of the building when it happened. He must be a good sleeper because he didn't hear anything."
This relaxes the man. The last thing he wants is some lunatic dog who thinks he's a dog ruins everything. Farquuad said, "Good. Now not a word, Daffy. No one must know!"
"Errr, you realized that you will putting kids in danger, right?" The duck asked concerned.
"Yes, but I of all people cares about what happened to them. Those kiddies will save up what they can to get their magical candy canes that I'm going to give them. They will get what's coming to them. Those people are so stupid to have radiators in their houses after all..."
"Stupid?! Oh geez, thanks boss! Now I can concentrate on future lawsuits and many years in prison!"
Farquuad only grins evilly as he said, "What do you think of the idea of Brazil?"
"Brazil?" asked Daffy.
"Right, where there will be beaches, breezes, drinks you can asked for, beautiful women, and no extradition treaties! No one can turn us in to the states!"
Suddenly the idea interested the duck. Spending the rest of his days relaxing in the sun. The duck greedily said, "So in other words.."
"We will get the cash and make a run for Brazil while that mutt spent the rest of his life in the doghouse!" laughed Farquuad evilly as he and Daffy heads to the evil man's bedchambers to discuss their future plans.

Back in the basement, June, Ray-Ray, and Monroe looks horrified at what they hear.
"Sweet McGongall! They're going to blow up the innocent children!" said Monroe horrified.
"And all for money. They shoulda done what I did and asked for it from Santa." said Ray-Ray.
"Ray-Ray, no time for jokes! We got to stop my uncle's plan and saved Danny!" said June in determination. "We will need some help on this. We got to get Sora!"
"Uh, June? Why don't you do it yourself? In fact, why didn't YOU save Danny yourself, even though you're definitely got the strength and speed to be a match for Farquaad's underlings (after all it's just Daffy and Bowser, NOT an entire army).
June answered, "Well, I'm sorry, but I could not bring myself to resort to physical violence against my foster uncle and his employees. That and the fact that Sora is supposed to be the big hero; not me. We have to stick to the script, after all."
"True." said Monroe nodding. The three knew they got to contact Sora and fast.

In the factory, Bowser takes Danny to the basement and tied him up with binds, including magical ones (he expects the boy to be magical if he could sneak into his boss's house without being detected). Danny tries to resist but couldn't escape.
The Koopa gagged Danny as he snapped, "Well, if you want to die while I'm gone, go ahead! No one can help you!!!"
Laughing evilly, Bowser lefts Danny tied up and gagged. It seems that no one can save him. Or is there?

Back at June's house the next morning, the Te Xuan Ze has began writing Sora a latter.
"'Sora, it's me June. I need your help. Danny has been kidnapped by an evil jerk who, unfortunately, is a relative of mine’." June's letter has begun.
"June, let's go. You're going to be late for breakfast." said Nani coming.
"Hold on. I'm coming!" said June. With no time to finish up, the Asian girl puts the unfinished letter in an envelope nearby which is marked, "Important! Read At Once". Soon June runs out of the room.
Suddenly a magical wind, like many times before in the past, 'grabs' the letter and takes it through the chimney into the air.

Remy looks worried as he, Garfield, and Dash looks at Comet and Cupid. The two reindeer has been getting sick lately. Dash uses a reindeer version of a thermometer and pulls it out.
"Hoo boy. These two got the reindeer flu." said Dash concerned as Comet and Cupid groan.
"They will have to stay indoors for now." agreed Garfield. "We better let Santa know."

Back with Sora, the Keyblade holder sighs sadly. He doesn't seem to have it in him anymore. Heck, he doesn't care what the rabbit is trying to tell him.
"Master Sora, we should prepare the first shipments of pinewood as early as April. Is that quite right?" asked Mr. Herriman. Just then, a letter came out of the chimney and landed right on the floor. "My goodness, a letter?"
"Yeah. Probably someone wanting Snoopy's autograph." said Sora sadly.
"In January? Too early if I say so myself."
Sora sighs as he picks the letter up. Maybe some reading would keep him busy a bit.
"Strange. There's something familiar about this writing." said Sora. His eyes widen as he sees the words "Important! Read At Once!" on one side of the envelope. He opens it up and reads the letter. It's June and she's telling him that Danny is in trouble!
"Mr. Herriman, get the reindeer ready!" exclaimed the legend of Christmas standing up quickly.
"Oh dear, so soon? They have come in 2 weeks ago!" said Mr. Herriman surprised.
"I know but I can't wait!" Sora knows Danny is in trouble and he got to saved him. All depression will have to wait! Just then, Snoopy's friends came in concerned. Sora sees them as he said, "Good, you three are here. Get the reindeer ready! I need to go, now!"
"We got a problem." said Garfield worried. "There's something wrong with Comet and Cupid."
"Which is?"
They got the reindeer flu. They got to stay in for a while." said Remy grimly.
"Aw man. Not now." groaned Sora. He can't take those two reindeer out if they're sick, and he never goes out with less than 9 (or 8 since that is how he started to begin with) before. But Danny is in trouble and there is no time to waste. "I will have to take seven for now. Get them ready. Danny needs my help!"

Soon the reindeer, minus Comet and Cupid, are in the Toy Tunnel. They looked curious as they never got used to been out besides Christmas Eve.
Sora start to fire up his Keyblade and comment, "In brightest day, in blackest night... aww, you know the rest better than I do. Anyway, we got a big problem here. Our friend Danny is in trouble. We got to help him before it's too late for him. While Comet and Cupid are out, we still got to do this, fly like as the wind."
The reindeer, including Donner and Rudolph, nodded. They cared for Danny and want to help the young boy.
"Can you do it for me, and Danny?" asked Sora hopefully. The reindeer nodded and grunt. "All right!"
The man got into the sleigh and takes the reins as he continues, "I will need all the extra effort you can give beside time is the essential here. YO!"
With that, the 7 reindeer pulls out of the Toy Tunnel right into the outside flying once again. Sora hopes he can get to Danny before it's too late.

Snoopy is once again at work on his candy cane making progress. Soon the toot is heard and the gauge runs empty. Time to refill again.
The beagle elf heads back to the basement and is about to open his usual storage which is the cabinet. But before he does, he hears something that caught his ears' attention. Some muddled screaming?
Out of curiosity, Snoopy investigates and to his surprise, he finds it coming from a boy tied to a pipe and gagged.
"What in the world? Hey what are you doing here? No one is allowed down here!" said Snoopy surprised as he untied Danny and removes the gags.
"Ha! Like I am stupid, mutt!" snapped Danny angrily confronting the one who is ruining Sora's reputation.
"Huh?"
"Who else? You ruined Christmas!"
Snoopy looks shocked. Him, ruin Christmas? That's crazy! He protested, "What are you talking about? You're crazy!"
"It's thanks to you that the kids don't like Sora anymore!" yelled Danny angrily.
Snoopy knew that Danny must be referring to Santa's real name. Looking concerned, the beagle elf continued, "Come on. You don't know Santa Claus."
"I do so!"
"Do not!"
"He said I am his only friend left, you dumb dog!" yelled Danny with tears in his eyes.
Snoopy looks more shocked. All he wanted is for Sora to like him again. But could it be that in his attempts to do so, that he ruins Christmas and the man he admired?
"I...I just wanted to show him how good assistant I am, honest!" protested Snoopy innocently.
"Right. He saw what you are!" yelled Danny angrily as he lunges at him. He may still be sick but he can still fight,. "You are a dummy stupid headed stink faced creep who got the kids to hate the best guy ever..."
However, before Danny could finish, something fell from his person and landed on the floor. Snoopy and Danny saw it and gasp.
Danny recognizes it as the present Sora got him last Christmas, the elf-portrait he made. While the halfa did not want it, as it reminds him of Snoopy and got him upset, Sora insisted that he keep it. So Danny does.
Snoopy, recognizing it as well, picks it up as he asked, "Hey kid, where did you get this?"
"Sora gave it to me. I am his best friend, see?" snapped Danny in annoyance.
Snoopy looks surprised. It's an elf-portrait all right and it looks just like him.
"My elf-portrait." said Snoopy happily. Why would Sora make this if he hated the beagle elf? Unless... "He does like me!" Snoopy smiles. He was just a fool! He thought his master and friend hated him when he cares for the elf all along! "Come on, kid!"
"Uh, where are we going?"
"To the North Pole! We can go there and we will let Santa Claus get a present for once!"

June, Ray-Ray, and Monroe are all dressed up and waiting in the Te Xuan Ze's room. They hoped their friend go thte letter.
"Where is he?" asked Ray-Ray. "He shoulda got the letter!"
Suddenly a familiar figure appears from out of nowhere. June smile as she hugs him saying, "Sora, it's you!"
"How is he?" asked Sora, worried about Danny.
"Not sure."
"Where is he?"
"June's step uncle captured him." explained Monroe concerned. "The candy canes..."
"Whoa, whoa, tell me on the way!" insisted Sora as he got some blankets for June's group's trip. He grabs hold of June, Ray-Ray, and Monroe as they magically teleported out of the room.
In the sleigh, June's group are in Sora's sleigh as they speed on their way. They explain everything that happened, including the most shocking part of all.
"They exploded when they get near extremely hot stuff?" asked Sora shocked. Oh man, not good!
"Yeah! Those things exploded like magical bombs!" said Ray-Ray. He woulda been excited if he didn't realized how nasty it would be.
"I called the police but I am not sure they believed me." explained June. "The cop I was talking to said, 'So, he is, huh', before he hangs up."
"We got to get going!" said Sora concerned. They got to saved Danny and hopefully stop the candy canes before they get ship out or worst.

At the factory, Danny is helping Snoopy loading something into the back of the Snoopy Mobile. He has since forgiven Snoopy when the beagle elf promises to make up to Sora for what happened.
"With a lot of this stuff, it can handle every Christmas order for the coming year!" said Snoopy. "And maybe Sora can get himself some good earned rest!"
That woulda been good, except the stuff Snoopy mentioned were the candy canes, and neither he nor Danny realized their most fatal flaw!
Once they got it loaded up, the beagle elf got the doors opened and both got in.
"I wonder how this baby works." said Danny curiously. "Looks cool to me."
"Trust me. You'd loved it." said Snoopy as he got the Snoopy Mobile started. Soon the machine came to life and rushes out into the sky, both its riders not realizing the danger they are in.

Sora and June's group were in the sleigh almost to the factory when they spotted a familiar vehicle rushing out far away ahead of them.
"Hey there they are!" said June pointing at the Snoopy Mobile. "Danny and Snoopy are in there."
"Sweet McGonagall once again! The candy canes are in the car with them!" gasped Monroe horrified. Sure enough, the candy canes are in the back exposed. "I don't think the lads know of the danger!"
Sora knew he got to act fast and think. He yelled to the reindeer, "Fly boys, fly like the wind! Fly like you never flown before!"
With that, the sleigh speeds up in hopes to get to Danny and Snoopy before it's too late.

Author's note
The chase is on. With Danny and Snoopy in unknowing danger, Sora and June has got to saved them before the candy canes exploded! And what about Farquuad? Don't worry, folks, he will get what's coming to him. The final chapter is coming soon! Read and review, folks!
