Joker's Revenge chapter 10

Author's note
Only two more chapters to go, people, this one and the next one. Looks like this story is about to come to an end, duh!

Dragonboy: Uh, no and no, Dragonboy. I can't use the suggestion because Kaiba is enough for Master Ryan to have as an assistant and I wanted a snake creature to be the monster in the sequel.

Chapter 10: Christmas Showdown

Upon return to the Hinterlands, the heroes get to work on restoring the Holiday Doors back to where they rightfully belong. T.K. and his friends split into groups to make this easier. Each time they restore a door, the tree the Holiday Door belongs to disappear and color is restored to the area.
Soon all the doors are restored until only the Christmas Door needs to be returned. The heroes headed to the center of the woods and found a circle of trees where T.K. and Patamon has found when the Digital Monster King first discovered Christmas. The Holiday Doors are in their place except for one: the one that has the Christmas Joker Door on it.
"This is it, the last one." T.K. said as he then put the Christmas Door in its rightful place resulting in the Joker one to do the usual: shake madly and shattered allowing the real door to be restored.
Patamon opens the door that leads to Christmas Town. Oddly, nothing happened at first.
"So...what is supposed to happen?" Beast Boy asked dumbstruck.
"Wait for it." T.K. said with a nod since he has experienced this before.
Sure enough, a gust of wind came out of the door and suck them all in. All but T.K. and Patamon who has done this before scream as the Christmas Door closed behind them. They are now on their way back to Christmas Town, home of Sora, his elves and Danny.

Back in the dungeon where the Holiday Leaders are imprisoned at, Luigi, with some Halloween Town citizens he brought along with 'precautions' are hard at work releasing the true rulers of the other holidays. The mayor grins as he opened the last cage releasing the last Holiday Leader.
"I-a did it! I-a rescued the Holiday Leaders," Luigi said happily. Some of those who help him frown at the mayor making Luigi yelp before saying nervously, "With-a some help. Hee hee."

Soon the heroes landed in a place familiar to T.K., Patamon, Danny and June: Christmas Town. It has been a while since the Digital Monster King has been here but for Danny, it's like being back home.
"Welcome home, Danny." June said with a grin. T.K. turns and to his surprise, Danny and his girlfriend are changing. The boy is now a fourteen-year-old boy. He had black hair and blue eyes, and he wore a white shirt (on which the rims of his sleeves were orangish-red, as was the collar of his shirt, and a horizontal oval shaped symbol on the front of his shirt), along with blue jeans, and red and white tennis shoes. This must be Danny's human form.
June now turned back into a thirteen-year-old Asian girl. She had freckles, brown eyes, long raven hair with a pink strand, and she is a green t-shirt (in which the rims of her sleeves were red, and the collar of her shirt was red, and there was a symbol on the front that looked like a red dragonfly), along with a brown wristband (which had purple gems on it) on her right wrist, along with a brown belt with a yellow belt buckle, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
"So this is what you guys look like as humans, eh?" Patamon asked looking at Danny and June with a grin.
"Well, I can still turned halfa here and even when June isn't one here, she got moves that can hurt. Trust me, I have train with her before." Danny said rubbing the back of his head with a chuckle.
The heroes got closer and got a big shock. Christmas Town, or the North Pole, is a big mess! The elves are doing their best to get ready for the Holidays but the Christmas tree is a rest and so is everything else.
"Oh man! The Joker has gone too far now." said Cyborg with a frown.
"This place gave me a warm feeling inside...I don't know why." Raven said feeling weird for some reason.
"That's the Christmas spirit talking." said Beast Boy grinning at Raven.
"Come on, we gotta hurry!" said T.K. in concern. If everything ends up a big wreck even if the Joker falls, it could still be too late for Christmas!
"Let's help the elves first!" suggested Robin. The heroes quickly work as they help the other elves in the repairs and the saving. Soon they are all done and go into Santa's workshop in hopes that Sora is in there and okay.
Upon entering, a beagle and an old rabbit goes over to them as Mr. Herriman, the rabbit, said, "Thank goodness, Master Danny and Miss Juniper. It's good to see you both safe. But who are these?"
"T.K. and his friends, one of them almost ruined Christmas one time." June said making T.K. chuckled sheepishly at that.
"Listen, have you seen..." Patamon begins to ask but then a familiar laugh cuts him off.
"Ho, ho, ha ha ha ha ha! Merry Christmas, boys and ghouls!" laughed the voice of the Joker cruelly. Everyone turn and leaves the shop. Sure enough, outside is the Joker, the real one, who is in Sora's sleigh! To make matter more shocking, Starfire is next to him in a force field cage. The Joker commented to her, "Don't bother trying to bust out, cutie-pie. The force field on that cage is QUITE durable enough to withstand your alien strength and star bolts. As Batsy Junior should have warned you a lot earlier, I'm crazy; NOT stupid."
"Starfire?! That creep." growled Robin angrily.
Snoopy, the beagle, gasp in alarm as he said, "What's Santa and Mrs. Claus doing up there?!"
"What?!" yelled Cyborg as he and everyone look up to see a familiar man and a red-haired woman hanging on a rope by hook above some train tracks.
"Get us down this instant!" Sora yelled struggling but couldn't get free from the ropes.
"You monster! Let us out of here!" yelled Ariel at the Joker who just ignores her pleas.
"Sora!" yelled T.K. in shock. Why did the Joker hang the ruler of Christmas and his wife up by hook up there for? Whatever it is, it isn't good!"
"Mom, dad!" yelled Danny in horror as he sees his foster parents struggling for their lives.
The group hears some whistling and sees a train coming out of a tunnel nearby. The thing itself looks like the Joker has made it especially with the big knife in front of it.
It was then that the heroes now realizing what is going on: the rope holding Sora and Ariel is on the tracks, meaning if the train were to cut it with that knife that is on it, the couple will drop to their doom, especially with how high they are. Luckily, the train goes in another direction away from the rope due to a lever that is turned at that moment.
"HA HA HA HA HA HO! Well, T.K. and friends, what are you going to do now?! Ha ha ha ha ha!" laughed the Joker madly. "Now this is a Christmas special! It's payback time!"
"Oh dear! We got to Santa and Mrs. Claus down but how to do so without hurting them?" asked Mr. Herriman in concern.
"Perhaps...if we were to change the tracks, we could buy Sora and Ariel some time to escape." T.K. said in thought. "And stop the train as well."
"Come on, Danny, it's time we help your foster parents get freed." said June with a smile as Danny turns back into his halfa form.
"Guys, we'd go saved mom and dad, but we're counting on you to stop that train from heck. Don't let us down." Danny said to his new friends quickly.
The heroes nodded as they get ready to do the tasks. T.K. and his friends attack the train while changing tracks each time to keep the thing away from the rope holding Sora and Ariel. As Danny and June try to get the two down, a song begins to play.

T.K.: Oh no! Oh no!
There's trouble everywhere!

Robin: Oh no!
There's smoke clouds in the air!

Danny: Oh no!
I can't believe my eyes
We have to help them
Hurry guys, they wouldn't dare! Oh no!

June: Oh no! Oh no!
There's something very wrong!

Cyborg: Oh no!
These things here don't belong!

Patamon: Oh no!
The streets are lined with
Little creatures crying
All the others must be hiding
Christmas spirit is subsiding!
Oh no!
Oh no!

T.K.: The joyous decorations here
Are melting from the fire!

Beast Boy: No doubt the work of the Joker!
Drat that no good liar!

Raven: There's fear in every window!
Oh, I can't believe my eyes!

Danny: And inside ourselves we feel to urge
To cut him down to size!

Cyborg: And there! Oh no!
His monsters have control!

Robin: Look out!
It chills me to my soul!
No more!

T.K.: They're gathering the presents to ignite them!
Don't they know who they are for?
Oh no!

June: Oh no!
He's here! It's all part of his plan!
The nerve!

Beast Boy: He's really gone too far!
This time!

Patamon: It's up to us to put a stop to this
Now is our chance we cannot miss!
This town's counting on us!

T.K.: So we must take charge and let them know!
The time is now
Fow them to go!
Oh where to start in such a mess!
Oh no!

Raven: Oh no, what now?
The peaceful town is ruined!

Cyborg: And look, the Christmas tree is bare!

Robin: Attacked! By someone, welcomed fiends!

June: I tell you I will snare them
And make sure they pay for their
Outlandish rude behavior...
Oh no!

Danny: The cheerfulness is missing
And the wonder isn't here!

Beast Boy: And in their place there seems to be
A paralyzing fear!

Robin: Instead of songs, I swear
I just hear screaming in the air!

T.K.: The stench of the Joker
Is absolutely everywhere...
The ghosts, the ghouls!
They're everywhere and all around!
I've never felt so sad before!
This happy place in front of us is being trashed
So greedily, so greedily!

Beast Boy & Raven: It's tragic! Oh, it's tragic!
I can't stand and watch it burn!

Danny & June: We've got to save this Christmas Town!
And seize these monsters all about!

All: This must stop!

Soon one of the heroes' attacks was too much for the train to take as it fell over and stop permanently. Meanwhile Danny and June have managed to get Sora and Ariel down safely.
"Mom, dad, are you okay?" asked Danny to his foster parents in concern.
"We're fine, Danny. Thank goodness you and June are safe." Ariel said smiling at her foster son and June.
"That was close." said Sora in relief. However, when he looks up, Sora looks alarmed upon seeing a familiar someone who took his place before and almost ruin Christmas coming over to him with the group. "Aw, you again? Haven't you cause me trouble enough the first time?"
"Sora, please...it's not...you see...I...I'm truly..." T.K. said nervously. How is he going to convince Sora that what happened this time isn't the Digital Monster King's fault this time?
"Dad, listen, T.K. didn't do any of this." Danny said to his foster father in concern. "He helped us saved you from that clown who tried to kill you the last time."
"I think he's right." Ariel said to her husband in concern. "I don't think the ruler of Halloween Town, the same one you told me about, is responsible for what happened."
"Oh for the love of...can't anyone died around here?!" yelled the Joker in anger and disbelief. Once again, his attempt to kill Sora has been foiled...thank to his enemies! To him, this isn't funny!
"Joker, get out of that sleigh and gave Starfire back to us right now!" T.K. ordered the clown in determination.
"Right, I need that sleigh to deliver the presents." Sora said as he gets his Keyblade out ready to fight if need be. "Without it, all the years wotrh of preparations would be gone."
"Kids all over the world would be upset because Santa won't give presents to them this year." Snoopy said in concern. "Bad enough I almost ruined him thanks to June's greedy uncle but I can't let some clown do the same thing!"
Just then some jingle is heard making everyone looks up. To the heroes' surprise, a familiar sleigh is heading towards Christmas Town. They see a familiar girl flying the thing carefully.
"Kari!" said the group happily, especially Sora who is familiar with her the last time the ruler of Christmas was in Halloween Town.
"Guess what, T.K.? We got our own sleigh!" said Kari eagerly as she landed the sleigh on the ground. Once the thing has landed, the girl got out and headed over to the heroes.
"Wait, I thought it was destroyed when T.K. and I made that disastrous Christmas run." said Patamon puzzled.
"Drakken managed to remake this and the reindeer for me to bring it over to you guys. He has a feeling that you would need it, T.K."
"Good work to him and you, Kari. We can use this to go after the Joker who is still here. Come on, guys, we can go after him." said T.K. in determination.
"Guess what? Luigi returned the other Holiday Leaders to their worlds." said Kari with a nod. It's true, that did happen!
"Well, looks like scaredy pants got some courage after all." Beast Boy said with a grin.
"That's good, Kari!" laughed T.K. as he hugs his love. "Now all that's left is to take care of the Joker!"
"Didn't you say that already?" Patamon asked his human partner puzzled.
"Stupid rag doll, getting in my way again!" scowled the Joker angrily. He quickly decided to make a break for it using the sleigh to escape Christmas Town with Starfire and all the presents!
"We gotta get going or Christmas is ruined." said T.K. in concern.
"Ahem, while you were fighting to save Sora and his wife, I have slipped a Halloween present you gave me before the madness, don't ask me how I got it, into Santa's Sleigh." announced Mr. Herriman with a nod. "Once the clown is flying, the thing should activate and scare him and the reindeer."
"All right, yeah! Let's get him!" laughed Cyborg in determination.
"Three times..." Patamon said rolling his eyes in annoyance. Our heroes and Sora got into the sleigh and speeds off after the evil clown.
"ho ho ho!" laughed Sora in determination.
"Good luck, everyone!" said Ariel as she, Snoopy and Mr. Herriman waved good luck to those goign after the Joker.

The Joker didn't expect it happening and neither did the reindeer. But when the sleigh flies into the moon's light, the Halloween Present Mr. Herriman has secretly put into the thing was activated. This startled the Joker enough to jump out of the sleigh yelping, knocking himself and the force field cage holding Starfire and making both fall downward.
"Gah! T.KKKKKKKKKKKKKK.," yelled the Joker furiously as he fell with Starfire screaming in her prison. "You all will not get away that easily! I'm the Seven Holidays King!!!"
Soon the villain fallen right in the center of a Holiday Junkyard. Luckily, Starfire's cage was caught by some junk saving her in time. But who knows how long that will last as the Joker got up from the trash he has landed in looking very ticked off.
"No, this can't be happening! AHHHHHHH!" yelled the Joker angrily and furiously. Soon the villain starts glowing a dangerous color as his rage builds up. Soon the villain screamed, "Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaah," as a lot of Heartless, Nobodies, bugs, robotic parts and lot of the junk goes into the villain making him turn dark purple some more. Soon as Starfire watch in horror, the villain begins to grow bigger and bigger.
Once the heroes has landed the sleigh, after stopping the Christmas one and get the presents back safely, Sora gasps as he said, "Whoa, look!"
The heroes turned and saw a gruesome figure coming out of the Holiday Junkyard itself. It's the Joker alright but he has turn into a giant big pile of trash, fused with everything you can find in a junkyard. He's now Mega Joker!
"T.KKKKKKKKKKKKKK.," yelled Mega Joker madly as he causes the ground to shake with two stomps. The heroes can feel it. The villain is heck bent on destroying his enemies once and for all!
"Sora, listen, we will deal with the Joker, okay?" T.K. said to the one he has upset before. If there's a chance for the Digital Monster King to make up for what happened, this is the chance to do so.
"Just get the presents deliver, hurry!" said Robin to Sora with a nod.
"No need to tell me twice! Merry Christmas everyone! Ho ho ho!" said Sora as he got back into the Halloween sleigh and flies off into the night sky to do what he always do: deliver Christmas presents.
The heroes left remain go towards the villain with determination. Beast Boy notes two gas pipes nearby that are broken as the heroes stop in front of Mega Joker.
"I wonder what the gas pipes are there for. Oh well, maybe we can use them to our advantage." said Cyborg with a shrug.
Joker growled, "You meddling kids again?"
Patamon comments, "Yeah. Us again. Who were you expecting; the Freelance Police?"
Mega Joker retorts, "Actually, I wouldn't mind dealing with them. I rather like the rabbit. He's one of the few technically good guys who is as crazy as *I* am."
Soon the fight begins as the heroes go to the second level. The Mega Joker goes towards his enemies in an attempt to attack but T.K. turns into his Digital Monster King form and throw fire onto the gas. Soon an explosion occurred hitting the villain hard.
"Oh oh, very funny...I'D SHOW YOU FUNNY!" yelled Mega Joker as he throws out a lot of garbage with whatever the transformed villain is using for arms now.
"Eeew, why shouldn't the Joker use other stuff instead of garbage?" demanded June in annoyance as she dodged the attack.
"Hey, I use what I can take, Junior Wonder Woman-wannabe!"
"Look, notes!" said Robin seeing some notes nearby like in some of the previous boss battles. "Some of us will gather them while we keep on the attack."
Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy and Raven quickly get the floating notes, having a feeling that they would need them. Meanwhile, the remain heroes with T.K. kept their attack using the same attack like with the last pipe. This caused Mega Joker to get weakened big time.
"It's working, he's weakening!" said Danny with a smile. "Now take this!"
Danny fires ecto-blasts onto Mega Joker while Cyborg and Raven fires blassts of their own. This appears to be too much for the villain as he crash to the ground.
"All right, he's done for!" said Beast Boy laughing in triumph.
"Hold it, I don't think the Joker is down yet." said T.K. with a frown. Knowing the Joker, the villain would refuse to give up.
Sure enough, T.K. is right as Mega Joker came out without any injuries at all. He laughs while saying, "Think again, fools! I'm getting started!!!"
"Oh great, I knew that was too easy." said Danny with a frown as Mega Joker slams into the ground as some dust fly around like mad.
"Easy is never in my dictionary, Santy's half-ghost foster brat!"
Soon the heroes prepared themselves for the final showdown as Patamon digivolved into Angemon, then he digivolved once more, this time into his Ultimate form. His helmet is different as are his wings. He wields the sword Excalibur on his right wrist and has a beam shield on his left shoulder. The Champion Digimon is now the Ultimate one called MagnaAngemon.
"Time to use the notes," MagnaAngemon said as the notes are place while the final dance off begins. The group dodged the next attack, involving arm swinging and garbage throwing.
"IT'S PAYBACK TIME!" yelled Mega Joker madly and angrily at his enemies.
"What, is that all you've got to say?" snapped T.K. pointing at the villain in determination. Mega Joker laughs as he begins to sing.

Mega Joker: Well, well, well!
What pests, you are!
Still around, huh?
Oh, can't say I like that!
So why don't you just give up?
You know, surrender!

T.K.: It's over! It's over!
Your scheme was bound to fail!
It's over! You're finished here!
You're next stop will be jail!

Mega Joker: They mock me! They fight me!
I don't know which is worse!
I might just split a seam now
If I don't die laughin' first!
Ha, ha, ha!

Mega Joker grew big while keeping on the attack. T.K. turns into his Sora costume and throws presents at the villain while MagnaAngemon fires a blast at the villain while he sings next.

MagnaAngemon: What's this? A trick?
We're not impressed!
You're bad and now you're tall!
It makes it all the more worthwhile
To see a giant fall!

Mega Joker: Talk, talk, talk! But I tell you
This giant's goin' nowhere!
If I were you, I'd take a hike!
There's danger in the air!

Whoa-oh!

June: Whoa-oh!

Mega Joker: Whoa-oh!

T.K.: Whoa-oh!

Mega Joker: Whoa-oh!

Robin & Danny: Whoa-oh!

T.K.: I'm the only Digital Monster King!

Soon an avalanche of snowballs came from out of nowhere and hits Mega Joker hard making him yell in pain especially when a big home hits him in the face hard. The heroes continue fighting as citizens of Halloween Town is watching the battle via the fountain back home.
"Halloween Town is mine!" yelled Mega Joker evilly.
"You can't have it, Joker!" snapped Robin in determination. "We will stop you.
"Well, someone is confident!" laughed Mega Joker, then he comment, "How appropriate. Face-to-face with both the Digimon King AND the junior half of the Dynamic Duo. The only thing that would make this even better would be if the Big Bad Bat himself would show up. But, since he isn't in this story, I guess I'll have to make due with you juvenile Justice League wannabes."
T.K. frowns as he turns into his Digital Monster King form as the fight/dance off continued.

Robin: Well, we’re feeling angry

June: And there's plenty left to do!

Danny: We've fought your most unwelcome help

T.K.: And now we’re after you!

Mega Joker: Even if you catch me
You could never do me in!
I'm ten stories high, and just as strong!
Which means I'm gonna win!

T.K.: Whoa-oh!

Mega Joker: Whoa-oh!

All: Whoa-oh!

Mega Joker: Whoa-oh oh!

T.K. & Mega Joker: Whoa-oh!

All: Whoa-oh!

T.K.: I'm the only Digital Monster King!

Soon fire appears and burn Mega Joker making him roar in pain. The villain cannot believe it, he's losing! Mega Joker got to pick up the pace.
At Kari's room back at Drakken's manor, the stitched girl and Gatomon looks worried. They hope and pray that their loves would turn out alright.
"This ends here." T.K. said to Mega Joker in determination.
"I'm laughing to death!" laughed Mega Joker with a sneer.
"We can arrange that." said MagnaAngemon with a frown just as T.K. turns back to normal. The big finish is coming up, it's time to finish it!

It's over! You're finished!
You'll never get away!
You? The Seven Holidays King?
That'll be the day!

Mega Joker: How feeble! How childish!
Is that the best you've got?
You think that you're all heroes, fools!
But I think you are not!

"Is that so?" snapped MagnaAngemon as he slashed Mega Joker making the villain yelp in pain.
"I'm the Seven Holidays King!" yelled Mega Joker, refusing to give up his title just yet.
"The only thing you're the king of...is nothing!" yelled T.K. with a frown.
"You're going down, clown boy!" said June in determination. This caused Mega Joker to slam all over the place like mad and throws garbage at the heroes as he kept on singing.

Whoooah!
Now it's time for you to see
What it really means to scare!
'Cause I'm a gamblin' Joker Man
Although I don't play fair!

It's much more fun, I must confess
With lives on the line!
Not mine, of course, but yours, old friends!
Now that'd be just fine!

Whoa-oh!

T.K.: Whoa-oh!

Mega Joker: Whoa-oh!

Heroes: Whoa-oh!

Mega Joker: Whoa-oh!

All: Whoa-oh!
I'm (he’s) the only Digital Monster King!

Soon the notes and MagnaAngemon's blast hits the Mega Joker ending the battle for the last time causing the villain to yell which echo everywhere. To his horror, the villain's body begins to shake like mad. As if that's not enough, millions and millions of Heartless, Nobodies, bugs, and robotic parts begins coming out of his mouth. Mega Joker is coming apart...again!
"NOOOOOO! NOT AGAIN!" yelled Mega Joker as more of his insides poured of him while the villain's body started to deflate, "MY PRECIOUS INSIDES! MY PRECIOUS INSIDES! My...precious insides..."
"Happy Holidays, Joker," T.K. said taunting the villain as Mega Joker is about to be gone, this time for good!
"Bah, humbug!" Mega Joker groans, soon he withers away like dust in the wind, never to be seen or terrorized anyone ever again.
Now that the Joker is gone at last, Robin looks around for Starfire as he exclaimed, "Starfire? Starfire? Where are you?!"
"Robin! I am over here!" Starfire called out to him from where she's at. Robin sees Starfire locked in the cage, and uses one of his birdarangs to free her, which is successful. Once the Teen Titan got out of the cage and flies down to the ground safely, Robin then rushes to her and hugs her tightly.
"Are you all right, Starfire?"
"I am now, thanks to you Robin. Why didn't you tell me about the Joker and about your past as we were getting to know each other?"
"I didn't want Joker finding out about you." Robin said in concern. Starfire looks at him confused. "I knew that if the Joker ever found out about you, or if you got hurt, I'd never forgive myself. And-."
"Robin." Starfire said interrupting the Boy Wonder with a grin.
"Starfire?"
"Stop talking." Then both of them kiss the way they did in 'Trouble in Tokyo'. T.K. gives Robin a thumbs-up.)
"Good job, Romeo!" laughed T.K. with a smile.
"T.K.!" exclaimed Robin in embarrassment once he part lips from Starfire for a moment.
"Just kidding."
"It's finally over." Danny said as he and June grin at each other before they kiss themselves. The Joker has been destroyed for good and all the holidays, including Christmas, are safe. How can this get any better?
Just then the group hears a familiar jingling in the air. They all look up and see a familiar St. Nick about to land in the Halloween sleigh.
"Santa/Sora/dad!" said everyone at all happily. What does he want? Time to ask!

Author's note
All right, Joker is gone for good! Now that happen, things are back to normal (or what's close to normal anyway). The last and final chapter is coming up so don't miss it!
