My Little Heroines: FIM Episode 21 part 1

Over A Barrel

It was nighttime in the desert as the train continues on its speedy way to Hill Valley. In a sleeping car, the girls and boys are preparing for sleep for the night. The boys share one bunk bed area while the girl share another one. Fifi's purple tail and hair is in curlers as the skunk does her best to get to sleep. But with the nonsense going on, she isn't getting any sleep at all.

"Ugh! For crying out loud in the morning!" Fifi groans, covering her ears with a pillow over her head.

Suddenly Furrball sticks his head out from under his blankets, groaning enough to make most of the girls fall silent, "Hey, you girls mind? I was up early working on those snacks you're all eating! I'm tired!"

"Like, sorry, Furrball." Shirley said to Furrball with a smile. "We're like excited and some junk."

"Can you blame the girls for being this excited?" Ryan ask, fluffing his own pillow a bit. "I'm excited too for seeing a small country town in the west."

"Say, that reminds me, Furrball. Some of these popcorn kernels didn't get popped." Buttercup said as she holds up a box of popcorn that the girl has been snacking on.

Furrball retort, "Oh, you mean the popcorn you were too lazy to use your laser vision to pop yourself?" The cat then sighs as she hit Buttercup's popcorn bag with his flame breath, the girl yelps and ducks down to avoid being blasted in time.

The popcorn itself is burned to a cinder, leaving a single intact kernel that pops after a moment before bouncing off her face.

Stitch comment, "I can't believe we're spending the second-to-last week of autumn delivering 'Bloomberg' to Kim's cousin Sora so that it 'will be ready for spring'."

"Well, Kim insisted that we do so. Her family is important, and Bloomberg counts as family one may guess." Blossom remarks with a shrug.

Buttercup comment, "Well, this train is not even close to as fast as me, but still not bad for a land vehicle."

"Well, good night." Furrball sighs as he stuffs himself back under the covers.

"Good idea, everyone. Time for all of us to get a little shut-eye. We've got a big day ahead of us tomorrow." Ryan said as he turns the light on, causing the whole car to darkened. Furrball went to sleep, being heard snoring as a result.

"Awww." Some of the girls said, amused by how fast asleep Furrball is. They then prepare to get to sleep themselves...well, for a few moments anyway...

Buttercup begins whispering to Lilo and Stitch, "Lilo, are you and Stitch asleep yet?"

Lilo answers, "No. I'm too excited to fall asleep easily."

Stitch asks Buttercup curiously, "Are YOUGA asleep yet?"

"Stitch, if she were asleep, she couldn't be asking US if we were asleep."

"Oh, right. Silly me."

Lilo shrugs as she turns to Buttercup, asking, "Anyway, what do you want to talk about?"

Buttercup glances to the direction of where Bloomberg the tree is at, speaking, "When we get to this town where Kim's cousin supposedly lives, do you think I'll have to carry that big tree all the way from the train station to the orchid? I mean, I don't really mind because I AM strong enough to easily lift that tree. As a matter of fact, I could have flown that tree from Townsville to this orchid of Kim's cousin in five seconds flat if I wasn't worried about destroying that tree with the friction heat. Still, I can't help but be curious."

Stitch blinks while asking in confusion, "What tree; Bloomberg?"

Buttercup sarcastically answers, "No; Bubbles."

"Bubbles isn't a tree, stupid head."

"I think Buttercup was being sarcastic, Stitch." Lilo points out to Stitch with a giggle.

Blossom, having trouble sleeping due to the conversion, joins in as she whispers, "Hey, come on. Please be quiet. I AM trying to sleep, after all. Still, as long as you woke me up, what were you talking about?"

Stitch smirks mischievously as he explains to Blossom, "Buttercup thinks Bubbles is a tree."

"I do not." Buttercup protests to Stitch in annoyance.

"Yeah," Lilo said with a nod. "Like I told Stitch, Buttercup was being sarcastic."

Blossom agrees, saying, "Quite right, Stitch."

Bubbles, joining in, smile while adding, "But I wouldn't mind being a tree, even if just for a few hours."

"Oh, for crying out loud," Furrball said in annoyance. All this whispering is keeping him up and the cat won't have it. "I'll have a much easier time getting some sleep with Kim and Bloomberg."

With that, Furrball took his pillow and blanket, heading to the caboose where the tree's at, slamming the door on his way out. Blossom blinks as she comments, "Well, you can't really blame Furrball for being a bit huffy. We ARE making too much noise, after all. So let's quiet down and get some sleep."

Buttercup jokes, "Huffy the Magic Dragon Cat."

Bubbles frowns at her sister while saying, "Now, Buttercup, that was a simply rude comment."

Stitch, confused, asks his friends, "Err, wasn't the 'Huffy the Magic Dragon Cat' line supposed to be said by the one in the Fluttershy role?"

Lilo explains to her friend, "Yeah, but a crack that snarky is more in-character for Rainbow Dash than Fluttershy."

"Once again, please be quiet." Blossom whispers to her friends sternly.

Fifi, having enough of the conversion, enters the conversion, cucumbers and face stuff is on her face as she said, "I quite agree. I DO need my beauty sleep, after all."

"Beauty sleep," Buttercup scoffs in amusement at what Fifi look like. "Wouldn't you have to, you know, sleep for a thousand years?"

Blossom/Fifi, having enough, yells angrily, "JUST SHUT UP AND GO TO SLEEP!" Buttercup yelps as she blows the candle out. That is enough talking for one night.

Furrball begins sighs as he opens the doorway of the caboose where Bloomberg is at, holding his pillow and blanket. At least the tree is more quieter than his intense roommates!

"Bloomberg?" Furrball whispers to the tree as he closes the door, heading over to the bed. "Bloomberg!" The cat smiles, tossing his pillow next to the branches then tucks himself on a free patch of the mattress. "Hope you don't mind, but I tend to snore a bit. Well, night!"

Furrball then settles in for a comfortable sigh. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Tomorrow has come as the train continues on its way to Hill Valley. But then, something begins to happen as it shakes noticeably.

Buttercup, sleeping in her berth, yelps as the vibrations threw her to the floor, which woke up everyone else in the room.

Ryan, waking up with a start, asks, "Huh? Why is the Earth shaking? Is someone having their honeymoon on the train?"

"That's not...funny, Ryan." Blossom groans a bit. She didn't want to wake up to THAT.

"It's just a question, Blossy...but I can also hear hooves. It can't be the Riders of Rohan...then...that means..."

"Yes?" Bubbles ask in concern.

Ryan chose that time to peek out a window. The man's eyes widen in shock as he exclaims, "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!"

The others took a peek out, Fifi got rid of her beauty accessories, and gasps in shock. There are people on horses charging alongside the train, some weird Indian-style feathers.

"Yikes! It's a stampede of outcasts!" Blossom gasps in shock and worry.

"Looking like Indians no doubt!" Stitch remarks in amazement. Some of the groups murmur in concern, wondering what these outcasts are doing charging near the train

"Oh, moi loved their accessories." Fifi remarks with a light chuckle, impressed with the outcasts' accessories.

"Errr, they are getting close to the train, don't you think?" Blossom ask nervously to her friends.

"Like, I don't think they're stampede. I think Ryan's right. We're under attack!" Shirley exclaims in alarm and worry. Those outcasts look angry and are attacking the train for some unknown reason!

The lead engineer of the team saw the outcasts and yelps as one of them rammed the train from the side. Then they hit the sleeping car, causing its occupants to bounce off the floor and walls like mad.

"I want to...speak to...the mana..." Fifi yelps a bit as she got cut off during the next bouncing.

Although the heroes in the sleeping car are having some problems, in the caboose, Furrball is sleeping like a baby, and doesn't even stir. Especially when the bed begins to slide back and forth across the titling floor.

The engineer yelps as the train gets bumped into again, this time in the back causing his assailant to be knocked silly for a moment.

"Hey, looky!" Lilo exclaims, jumping over to a window as the outcasts begins to gather as if preparing to do something. "Oooh, they're doing tricks now!"

One outcast jumps onto the back of another. Another one races up, preparing to do a trick. This outcast is girl with auburn hair that extended to her shoulders, blue eyes, and she was wearing a white casual t-shirt, a white and blue-plaid mini skirt, long blue socks, and black shoes. Her name was Kairi.

Kairi soon did some agile leaps that put her right on top of the double decker rushers and on the level of the roofs of the train cars. Ryan whistles, "Well, for an outcast, she's an agile little mink."

"Now do a backflip!: Stitch exclaims eagerly. Kairi jumps onto the nearest roof, causing the heroes to be startled by the impact above their heads. Probably because she landed right on top of their car. "Or just jump."

"Like she is going somewhere." Shirley said as the group heard Kairi rushing across the rooftop.

"Hey, hang on. I got a feeling this isn't a circus act." Buttercup said in suspicion as the girl flew off. As Kairi charges from car to car, barely breaking stride at the gasps, the Powerpuff Girl stops to get into her way, causing Kairi to gasp. "Hey! Whatcha up to and where are you going in a hurry?"

Kairi narrows her eyes. She doesn't have time for this. The girl rushes on, causing Buttercup to fly up to dodge her then flies after the girl. Both are neck and neck as if in a race.

"Well, you're pretty quick for someone so...bulky. No offense." Buttercup remarks with a light chuckle. Kairi just frowns as she zips off, causing her opponent to gasps. How dare she?! The Powerpuff Girls flew up ahead and blocks her a few cars ahead. "Hey, I wanna know..."

Kairi however swerves around her, much to Buttercup's annoyance. She scowls, "Hey!" The heroine isn't going to be dissed like that! She put herself in Kairi's path, losing her cool. "Listen, I'm talking to you, lady!"

Kairi did some impossible: launching herself to an impossible height before doing a handful of mid-air somersaults. The girl proceeds in landing behind Buttercup as she continues onward to her target.

"Whoa!" Buttercup exclaims. She got to admit, the Powerpuff Girl is impressed, but she isn't giving up just yet. Buttercup flew after, closing the distance as her opponent is reaching the gap that is between the next to last car and the caboose, diving into it. The speedster however just races past, yelling, "I got you now, you..."

Of course, Buttercup was so busy focusing on Kairi that she rails to see a railroad crossing sign up ahead. That is until the girl slams face first into it. Kairi glances briefly down the track at her, but ducks in behind the caboose as Buttercup slides down the signpost, landing on the sand, groaning.

Kairi got a job to do. She yanks out the peg securing the coupling, causing the caboose to roll free. Once that's done, the outcast jumps onto the roof and whistles, signaling her fellow outcasts to peel away from their assault on the train. They are now pushing the caboose backwards for some reason.

At the end of the car that the caboose got loose from, the passengers gather at the door, along with Kim who gasps in horror, "Oh no! They've got Bloomberg!"

"HEEEEEELP!!!" Furrball yells out frantically as he plasters himself against the caboose window. The cat is being kidnapped by outcasts.

"And Furrball!" Blossom exclaims in horror.

"So we got tree-nappers and cat-nappers." Ryan said as the hijacked car goes past the sign that Buttercup just smacked into, the girl was getting up groaning as she rubs her head. "So what the heck are they up to?"

"HEEEEELP!!" Furrball calls out frantically.

"Oh, those creeps. Cat-napping Furrball. I will show her...ow!" Buttercup yelps, groaning in pain as she rubs her head again. The girl will begin going after them...

At least, once her own head stops pounding.

Oh no! Furrball and Bloomberg has been captured by the outcasts, but why? In the next part, we meet Kim's cousin Sora who explains the problem with the outcasts...who are angry because of the trees that the settlers planted on their land. And with Buttercup and Kim on different sides, Stitch tries to help...with a song. Read, review and suggest!
