Iron Hedgehog chapter 4

Hey, folks, I'm back to continue this story and answer the reviews. First off, Lizard-Lips, I will have June date Redge if the script calls for it, so sorry, but I'm keeping to it. Same goes for making Sonic an alcoholic to answer the Shadow Syndicate's review.

Also, I will have some of the reporters cameo in the press conference in this chapter.

And ABI, Solid Snake will only appear in the very end of the fanmake (like in the actual post credit scene), but no worries as I got Yamaki to be in his place.

Chapter 4: Return to America

Sonic gasps as he feels like he himself would pass out at any God given moment. The hedgehog is walking through the deserts of the Fire Nation, with little water and food. Due to the hot sun, Sonic uses a jacket to keep his head from sun burn...but now the only main promises are thirst and hunger.
"Damn, damn..." Sonic said he tried his best to keep on walking, but the whole thing feel like days to him. Thank god the hedgehog ditches the metal suit he used in his escape. That would've killed him for sure, but Sonic feels like he will die now!
Soon Sonic fell to his knees as if for the last time. Unless the hedgehog can find water, shelter, and/or some help, he is so screwed.

Aladdin was looking out a window of his helicopter for two hours now. This is, what, the 37th trip to look for his lost employer and friend now? A lot of people seem to have given Sonic up but the colonel knew better than to surrender. The day Al finds the hedgehog's corpse is the day he gives up.
Aladdin comment, "I'll find you, Sonic, if I have to search every one of the eight continents with a fine-toothed comb."
A soldier named John 'Reaper' Grimm puts in, "There's only seven continents."
Aladdin puts in, "I count Atlantis. Trust me, if you've seen half of the amazing things I have over the course on my adventures, you would too."
"Why do i have a feeling that crazy commando lead penguin said something just like what you just said." Another soldier named Phil DeVille remark in amusement.
"Hey, sir, we found him, we found him!" Reaper said spotting something out a window.
Aladdin saw to his happiness a familiar hedgehog about to pass out. Sonic may look different but the colonel knows that form anywhere!
Soon the damn helicopter lowers itself to the ground where Sonic is at, the hedgehog smiling for the first time in days as he got up barely and head to the helicopter.
Aladdin got off the helicopter and run over to the hedgehog, tears of happiness in his eyes. The two friends hug each other as the street rat said, "Hey Sonic!"
"Sorry, Al. This is the fun-vee. The hum-drum-vee is back there." Sonic joke as he points back a bit. Aladdin couldn't help but laugh a bit. Even after days of being missing, the hedgehog is still a jokester.
"So how was the fun-vee?"
"A pain in the ass, let me tell ya."
"You are riding with me from now on." Aladdin said shaking his head in amusement as he help Sonic right towards and into the helicopter. Sonic, the missing billionaire, is about to go home.

2 days has pass as Sally is waiting at the aircraft for Sonic to come back. The secretary heard that her boss has finally been found after being missing and was relief, crying in joy. Of course, while Sally always say that it's because she is relief to still have her job, the woman has another good reason for Sonic to be alive and found at last.
Sally saw the aircraft that landed nearby. As she watch, the large back door of the thin opens as a familiar hedgehog came out, left arm bandaged and plasters on his face. Aladdin helps him out making sure that the hedgehog doesn’t hurt himself while recovering.
"Hey, Mr. Hedgehog, welcome back." Sally said trying to sound emotionless. Sonic looks up and saw tears coming out of the squirrel's eyes, no matter how much the woman try to hide him. he hedgehog suspect that Sally is crying, but what kind of, Sonic ponders.
"Well, well, Sal, your eyes are red." Sonic said observing the tears his employee is giving. Sally yelps as she swipes the said tears away. "Let me guess, they are for your long lost boss?"
"No, no, joy, maybe. Job hunting was a bitch."
"Well, vacation is done. Time to get going, Sal."
The two goes over to the limo where Wooldoor is waiting at the driver's seat, the chauffer is happy that his boss has return, safe and sound. The whatchacallit is hell sure want to continue working for him.
"Any place you want to go, boss?" Wooldoor ask Sonic eagerly.
"We got to get to the hospital." Sally said with a nod. With Sonic's injuries from the Fire Nation, the hedgehog needs to get into recovery and fast.
"Whoa, whoa, no way! Forget it!" Sonic snaps much to Sally's surprise. The hedgehog is hurt and yet he doesn't want to go to a hospital?
"Sonic, you got to go to a hospital so that a doctor can look at you!"
"Sorry, but I don't have to do anything. I have been locked up for three damn months." Sonic said sternly. The hedgehog got plans he has made the moment he got saved. The hedgehog comment, "First, I'm going to get two cheeseburgers and two DOZEN chili dogs. I am STARVING. Then, I've got a press conference to take care of."
"No way, forget it. Not going to happen.. Besides, why a press conference anyway," Sally asks with a frown.
"Just get driving, Wooldoor. Cheeseburgers and chili dogs first!"

A lot and LOTS of reporters are waiting outside the conference hall. They heard that Sonic is making a press conference and they are so eager to what the billionaire has got to say after three months in captivity.
Soon Sonic's limo drove up and stops, allowing the hedgehog himself to come out. The crowd claps and cheers for their hero.
As Sonic walks up to the conference hall, Dr. Eggman got through the crowd and hugs the hedgehog saying, "Well, looks like you have return. Nice to have you back, Sonic! It was a bitch controlling Hedgehog Industries without you."
"Yeah, it will be a bigger bitch once I got what I say off my chest." Sonic said as he got out of Dr. Eggman's grip and kept on walking.
"Say, shouldn't you get to a hospital? Your injuries..."
"I get it, Jesus, you sound worst than Sal! Come on, let's get inside."
Wooldoor run up and gave Sonic's order, the food he ask for earlier, in a bag and gave it to the hedgehog. The hedgehog took a chili dog out and ate it happily.
"All right if I have one," Dr. Eggman ask hungrily staring at the food a bit.
"Hell, this is my food, besides you should worry more about me than your own diet, Eggman." Sonic said with a smirk. Dr. Eggman rolls his eyes. Why is he not surprised to see a fat joke coming?
Sonic and Dr. Eggman goes through the entrance and down the path to get to the big room where the conference should be at. The moment they enter, reporters begin asking dfor statements and some other crap about what happens, with cameras flashing like mad.
Sonic has got to the front of the crowd with Eggman as the press conference begins. Sally stay at the back with Aladdin so the two can hear the hedgehog's speech better.
Just then Sally saw a man walk up to her. He had blond hair with blue eyes. He wore black
sunglasses, a business suit with a tie, and black shoes.
"Excuse me, Miss Acorn?" The man said showing his badge to the ocean. "I am Agent Yamaki who works with the Strategic Homeland United Saving Heroes,"
"Damn, that's one a lot of stuff to say." Sally said in amazement since it took a man like Yamaki to say his organization's full name. Anyway, I wish to speak with Mr. Hedgehog for a moment."
"Yeah, I know, we're trying to shorten the name or something."
"Look, before you ask, we already got questioned by the CIA, FBI and a lot of divisions already."
"That's true, but I want to speak with Mr. Hedgehog how about he escaped the Fire Nation terrorists." Yamaki explain sternly to Sally. "It won't be easy for someone like him.
"Look, I will see about getting a date set up for you, Mr. Yamaki." Sally insists wanting to get back to hearing Sonic's conference.
"I appreciate your cooperation, thank you."
Sonic finish his chili dogs and burps a bit before wiping his mouth off. The hedgehog sighs as he said, "Okay, first off, I can feel the love in this room right now, hell like I did when I screw a lot of women." The camera people chuckle a bit at this, knowing that it's funny because it's so damn true! Sonic comment, "Well, I DO need the practice in portraying a wealthy playboy in preparation for Essteka's next Bathog story; whenever that's coming. Admittedly, the biggest differences between Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne are the facts that 1. They've had completely different fields of training and 2. Wayne only PRETENDS to be the playboy Stark ACTUALLY IS, but that's another matter entirely. Anyway, I love it if you all sat down for this."
"What's with the love in?" Aladdin asks Sally. The woman shrugs as she and the reporters sat on the ground to hear what Sonic's about to say. From the looks of things, it may be hard for even this hedgehog to say at all.
"The truth be known, I never got the chance to say goodbye to my dad. I got a lot of questions I would've ask him, about how he felt what his company did, if he was conflicted or got any doubts. Hell, I wonder if he was even the man we know of the newsreels." Sonic pause as he about to get to the most difficult part of all, knowing there are people won't take it well at all. "Listen, I found out and saw that the weapons my company and I have made has kill a lot of young Americans, the same weapons we made to keep them safe. Hell, I saw that I have become a part of a system that is comfortable with zero-accountability."
"Mr. Hedgehog, what happened over there?" A reporter named Tom Tucker curiously, wondering where the billionaire is going with this.
"My eyes became opened to reality. Perhaps it's time for me to offer this world more than making hellva weapons that blow stuff up. Which is why I have decided, effective immediately, I am shutting down the weapons manufacturing division of Hedgehog Industries."
Soon the reporters stood up, shock and bewildered by Sonic's division as they shouted questions at him. The hedgehog got up with a sigh, knowing people will be in a shock or uproar over his decision, but Sonic felt like it was the right thing to do.
Dr. Eggman goes over to Sonic and pats him on the back trying to help the hedgehog as the latter left, ignoring the reporters. The man turns to the press and said, "Well, that is a shocker but hell, what is more important is that Sonic is back!"
Not everyone is excited though. Sally is shock and disbelief upon hearing what her boss is saying. The hedgehog is actually giving up making weapons, the best thing his company is made for?
"I don't know what happen to Sonic back there, but that is not the hedgehog I used to know." Aladdin said it best in shock and disbelief.

Author's note
Well, that is a shocker. Sonic is shutting down the weapons manufacturing division of his company but not everyone is agreeing to his idea. But what is the billionaire going to do now? Read, review and suggest, folks!

Also, if anyone can give me some dialogue or stuff from the show with the host that is making fun of Tony Stark and his decision in the movie (Nukid’s fanmake didn’t have it for some reason), that would be nice.

Phil's remark about the crazy commando lead penguin is a reference to 'Penguins of Madascar' when Skipper has a similar quote to what Aladdin just said.

Use the first letters of the organization that Yamaki is from (in this fanmake anyway) and you can guess who is parodying S.H.I.E.L.D.
