Danny Phantom and the Temple of Secrets chapter 5

Chapter 5: The New Maharajah

The group manages to arrive to Hogsmeade, travelling through town until they arrive at the palace, dealing with bats flying around. The gang looks at the town before glancing at the folks in the place.
"Hello." A voice spoke as the gang saw someone coming towards them. He's a man with long blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and wearing black robes and a black cloak. The man himself also got a hideous scar over his left eye. His name is Lucus Malfoy. "Looks like you are lost, but I can't imagine where in the world you all would look at home."
"Oh, we're not lost." Danny said with a chuckle. "We're on our way to Hogsmeade to be honest. Ahem, this is Miss Kim Possible, Lilo Pelekai, her alien pal Stitch, and I am Danny Fenton."
"Wait, Dr. Fenton, the famous archaeologist and halfa known as Danny Phantom?"
"Yeah, hard to believe, huh," Kim ask in amusement while chuckling.
Ryan looks surprised at Lucius as he spoke, "Lucius? Is that really you?"
"Have we met before?" Lucius ask looking puzzled at Ryan as if not seeing him before.
"Lucius, it's me. It's Ryan."
"Ryan?" Lucius gasps in surprise. Ryan nods. "Ryan, it is you! It's so good to see you. You've grown up fast."
"Indeed, I have, Lucius. It's been a long time, old friend." Ryan said with a chuckle of amusement. The other arch eyebrows at this; He seems to know this man.
"You know him, Ryan?" Kim asks Ryan puzzled.
"Lucius was my father's most trusted advisor and a very skilled politician. Isn't that right, Lucy?"
Lucius chuckling at Ryan's teasing admits, "Indeed I was, Ryan." He then smiles as he shakes hands with Danny, shaking, "I have heard about you while studying at British College. My name is Lucius Malfoy, Prime Minister for His Highness, Wooldoor, the Maharajah of Hogsmeade." He then shakes Kim's hand. "An honor to meet you all."
"Right, thank you all." Kim said, blushing as Lucius kiss her hand. Danny frowns, trying to hide any jealously but to no prevail. "Welcome to Hogswarts."
As the group heads on ahead, Ryan chuckles at Danny's jealously, remarking, "Yeah, you do like her, Danny."
"Shut up, Ryan." Danny snaps bitterly to his adopted brother, making Ryan laughs some more.

It was evening as music plays throughout the castle. Stitch looks around at the girls, smiling eagerly. He asks, "Lilo? Where's Stitch's razor? Meega got to look presentable!"
"Stitch, 1, you don't shave. And 2, you got Angel, remember?" Lilo reminds Stitch while rolling
Inside the castle, more girls dance as musicians played some music. As folks chat onward about whatever it is they are chatting about, Lucius led the group, with Danny and Ryan in tuxedos, to the area. Kim isn't around as she decided to put on a new dress for dinner. The Prime Minister smiles as he spoke, "Yes, we are indeed fortunate tonight to have a ceremony for unexpected visitors."
The group came to two figures. One of them is a boy with messy dark brown hair, round glasses, green eyes, a red and black shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a lightning-bolt shaped scar on his forehead. His name was Harry Potter.
The other figure is a girl that had long ginger hair and freckles. She also had blue eyes and she was wearing a pink dress. Her name is Ginny Weasley.
"Everyone, this is..." Lucius begins to introduce the other visitors but a certain king beats him to it!
"Harry! Ginny! It's so good to see you two love birds." Ryan said as he smiles upon seeing two old friends of his.
"Hey, Ry," Ginny said, grinning to Ryan while waving to him.
"Hi ya, Ry," Harry said nodding while greeting his old friend.
"More old friends of yours," Lilo, ask, arching an eyebrow at Ryan.
"Indeed, pals for years now." Ryan explains to Kim with a chuckle. "Harry, I've heard you have moved up in the wizardry world lately."
"Yes, leader of dark wizards hungry groups. And this must be your adopted brother, Dr. Fenton, right?" Harry asks Ryan while smiling to Danny. "Ryan told me all about you."
"Yes; that I am." Danny said with a smile as he shakes Harry's hand. "Glad to meet you at last."
Lucius decided at that point to get into the conversion, "Yes, Mr. Potter, his girlfriend and their troops are on a routine inspection. They find it amusing to inspect us in their convenience."
"Oh, I hope it isn't inconvenient to you, sir." Ginny said to Lucius, concerned about what's going on. "Dumbledore felt like it was necessary."
"Yes, Dumbledore is concerned so much for his school and the rest of the magical world. Makes it all feel like well cared for kids."
"Help, help, girls are after Stitch!" Stitch exclaims, running off with giggling girls chasing him. "Back, back! Stitch is spoken for!!!"
Lilo laughs as she shakes her head in amusement. Just then, Kim arrives wearing a green fine dress. Danny smiles in delight as he speak, "Hey, Kim. You look beautiful."
"Yeah, I think the Maharajah is swimming in loot." Kim explains to Danny with a chuckle. "Perhaps coming here wasn't a waste of time after all."
"Well, yeah. You look like a princess."
"So Mr. Malfoy; what do they call the Maharajah's wife?"
"What?" Danny asks Kim with a frown. She actually wants to get 'friendly' with whoever's in charge of this castle now? Impossible!
Lucius just chuckles, shaking his head as he answers, "To be honest, Wooldoor didn't take a wife just yet."
"How interesting. He probably didn't find the right woman yet." Kim remarks with a sly grin on his face, making Danny more mad.
"Best to be careful; you may not be his type...and Danny's getting jealous." Ryan remarked, chuckling while motioning to his brother.
"Besides, you don't know what he even looks like yet." Ginny said in agreement, wondering as to how Kim would want to be with Wooldoor if she hasn't met him yet.
"Shut it." Kim snaps to Ryan and Ginny with an annoyed frown.
Once the entertainment is done for the guests, the folks in the palace along with their guests arrive in some sort of seating area with mattresses. Lucius came to the side, clearing his throat as he speaks, "His supreme highness, guardian of the Cartoon tradition, the Maharajah of Hogsmeade, Wooldoor Sockbat!"
A door opens up as a figure came into the room. As he and the crowd sat, we see who it is: a yellow creature with wings on his head wearing a sleeveless shirt, blue shorts, socks, and what appeared to be a doorknob behind him. His name is Wooldoor Sockbat, the new Maharajah.
"Wait, hang on, that's the Maharajah?" Lilo asks her friends in disbelief as she glances at Wooldoor. "That guy looks like a stinking annoying uh..."
"Whatchacallit," Stitch guesses to Lilo with a shrug.
"Wheeeee," Wooldoor exclaims, holding his hands in the air like a fool.
"Say, Harry was telling me some interesting history of the palace." Danny said with a smile, getting to some history that happened at Hogswarts years ago. "It's something important that played on the mutiny."
"Yes, I know. Wizards and wizards could never forget the mutiny of 1857." Lucius remarks to Danny, getting annoyed by that subject.
"Yes, but I think there are other events before that mutiny that goes back a century, back the time of magic, but more interesting."
"Oh really? And what events are those, Dr. Fenton?"
As Ryan spoke next, Kim tries to get a pearl necklace off an unsuspecting man though she yelps in alarm by a cooked snake on her platter, "Well, according to memory, if it serves me correctly, this area and province was the center of activity...for the Death Eaters."
"Ah, Snake Surprise." The man said with a smile at the meal as part of the snake was cut. The gang saw lived baby eels coming out, much to the shock of some of the others and Kim's disgust.
"Ugh, Danny..." Kim said, a bit disgusted; can't these people give her something else?
"Dr. Fenton, you know full well that the Death Eater cult was eradicated a century ago, thanks to Ryan's great-grandfather." Lucius insists to Danny, waving off the story in dismissal. It's true. Ryan's great-grandfather was involved in what could've been the death of the Death Eater cult.
As the man eats the eels, much to Kim's disgust, Danny grunts, "Well yeah I suppose some legends die hard."
"Good, I assure. There aren't any more legends."
"Not so sure about that. I mean, we just came from a small village. The folks told us that Hogsmeade is getting powerful again because of some ancient evil."
"These are just village stories, Dr. Fenton! Nothing more than feared folklore," Lucius insist, getting a bit upset over the upset. "Please, you're beginning to worry Harry and his girl."
As Danny looks at the eel, Harry pushes it away as he said, "Actually, we aren't worried, just interested."
"Right, one of the reasons we came here is to make sure that Hogswarts isn't the same castle of wickedness it was years ago." Ginny explains, agreeing with Harry. After all, the two want to make sure Hogswarts is better big time.
As Ginny shoves her eel away, the dung beetles, cooked and prepared, were passed one. Each guest took a piece of the beetle, much to Kim's surprise and concerned.
The man, noticing that some of Danny's group isn't eating, asks, "What? How come you aren't eating?"
"Sorry, I ate bugs already." Kim said uncomfortably. This causes the man to chuckle as he eats his bug, much to her disgust. "Ugh! Ryan, got something I could throw up in?"
"Why?" Ryan ask Kim puzzled.
"Because I'm going to throw up!"
"No way! You ain't throwing up on me, Kim! Or anything that I got on myself! No way."
Stitch shrugs as he grabs a piece of food, swallowing it whole. Lilo giggles in amusement, "Oh Stitch."
"Another thing that they told us is that villagers believe that the palace had taken something." Danny said to Lucius, recalling the reason why he and the others are here.
"Dr. Fenton! In our country, it is not wise for a guest to insult his host." Lucius exclaims as if shocked that Danny is giving out a false accusation that the palace had stolen something from a humble village.
"Oh, sorry. For a moment, I thought we were talking about folklore, Lucy."
"Don't call me that."
"Excuse me, but do you got something simple like soup?" Kim asks a servant, hoping to find something else better to eat.
"So what was stolen anyway?" Harry asks Danny and Ryan curiously and concerned.
"A sacred rock," Ryan explains to Harry, making Lucius chuckles as if this was a joke to him.
"You see, Mr. Potter? Just a silly rock," Lucius remarks to Harry with another chuckle. "Honestly, Ryan. I thought you know better than to believe Danny when he takes you on wild goose chases like this."
"Oh, I don't know about that." Ginny said to Lucius thoughtfully. "Sometimes even chases end up chasing a big prize at the end."
Some soup was brought for the guests in the end. Kim opens the lid of her meal up and smells it. For a moment, the woman thought she was going to have a good meal. That is until Kim saw some eyeballs floating in her soup, causing her to scream in a panic.
"Something's connected. The villagers' rock in the old legend involving the original Arkenstone," Danny explains to Lucius as to what it is that the Muppets' Arkenstone is connected to.
Lucius roll his eyes, frowning as he spoke, "Dr. Fenton, they are all vulnerable vicious rumors. Perhaps I remember that in Twilight Town, you were once accused of being a grave robber than an archeologist, correct?"
"Well, okay, I admit the newspapers were known to exaggerate the incident."
"And didn't I hear that the king of the Earth Kingdom threaten to cut your head off if you return to his own country again?"
"Now hang on, Lucius, that was a misunderstanding." Ryan insists to Lucius with a deep frown. "It was Long Feng, the Earth King's Grand Secretariat of Ba Sing Fe, who made that threat, not the king himself. Plus, it took Danny and I a while to expose him."
"Then your brother's hands then." Lucius remarks to Ryan with a smirk as if the threat still remains, no matter if Long Feng was gone or not.
"It was my hands either! Again, it was a misunderstanding and had nothing to do with this conversion!" Danny snaps to Lucius in frustration. Why is the Prime Minister denying what happened in the Muppets' village as well as possible existence of the Death Eaters themselves?
"Uh, excuse me, hello? Can I speak?" Wooldoor, who overheard the conversion, spoke up, causing everyone to become quiet. "Yeah, I've heard the evil stories of those Death Eater guys. I may be silly but even I thought that those stories were told to frighten kid...as well as me! Eeeek! Anyway, turns out that those guys were real and did nasty things. I am not happy as to what happened here so many years and I promised you, this will never happen again in my kingdom."
"Oh, did I offended you? If that's the case, then I'm sorry about that."
As Wooldoor looks concerned, Lucius glances at the Maharajah as he bows to him. Danny looks suspicious at Ryan's old friend. Something's not right here, especially when the ruler appeared to have a dazed look in his eyes. Is Wooldoor just being silly or is something else happening here?
"Ah, here's desert." The man said as each guest is given a Gorilla head in a cup. "Chilled monkey heads."
As the man ate the brains, Kim can only looks at her food...then groans as he faints onto the ground. Ryan, eating his, looks at her funny, asking, "Geez, what's her problem? It's like she never saw Jello in a fake monkey head before."

Hmmm, Lucius is acting suspicious for some reason. In the next chapter, as Danny and Kim have another conversion, mysterious attackers attack him. Read, review and suggest.
